After realizing that I was growing a male plant (critical purple kush), I started over by planting my second batch of pineapple glue for 2021. Started the germination process on Saturday 6/26/2021 in the AM and used the paper towel method in a dark cupboard in 72 F degree temperature. Onwards and upwards!
Was a good week one, sprouted fine and water as needed. Left the plant by itself for 5 days with reasonable water (went to Peach Festival, saw moe. JRAD and Spafford kill it + Oysterhead mind blower), but the soil dried out and she seemed pretty parched, so watered her nicely. On to week 2!
Will be uploading on Sunday instead of Monday going forward due to ease, but the plant is doing well, been watering when the soil gets dry, she keeps going like crazy! On to the next week!
Great growth finishing out week 3! Plant continues to grow nicely and only gets water when the soil is dry. I have topped the plant once which gave me two new stems, and I plan on topping those too. No headaches so far!
Week four ended great! Got a new tent with a new light, so the plant has been loving the extra room -- you can definitely tell she feels like she can stretch out properly! The new light switches her from 45W to 110W with different veg and flower light settings -- though this is an auto and to my understanding they could give less fucks about the light and will flower when they feel entitled to. Either ways, love the new setup, slightly louder which is annoying, but definitely adding value -- on to week 5! Hopefully it's a flower week!
The plant continues to do very well, and it has really liked adapting to the expanded grow area in the new tent I got. Again, still watering when the plant soil is dry -- no additional nutrients are being added -- it's my second grow, trynna keep it simple ya know. But I believe this should be the last week of veg, this coming week I think should be all flower.
We are finally in full flower! No additional nutrients being added -- simple grow. She is loving the light, growing like crazy, and still getting water every time the soil becomes dry -- which is now every 2 - 3 days. Moving next week, so it's going to be fun having to move her to a new place when she is this big...
It was a bad week. The week started off with what I researched to be a fungal infection throughout the plant -- small brown dots on leaves, and took steps to cut those leaves immediately as noted by the forums. Then it was moving week -- the plant was in the dark, with freshly watered soil, for a little over 24 hours -- this really caused a fungus infection throughout the plant as you can see. I dried the plant out and tried to keep it in a slightly less humid environment. Hopefully she stops hating me soon and continues to develop her flowers as they were on the right track at the end of last week. I'm fairly sad as to how this last week went and work has sucked a lot too. Hopefully this coming week is better. If anyone has any recommendations as to how to promote further flower growth and overall healing of the plant, PLEASE let me know down in the comments -- any help would be greatly appreciated. From, a discouraged grower.
This week was a battle coming back from last week...but we are doing better! The plant got septoria which I determined was derived from a too humid environment and lack of proper air flow and circulation. Got more fans so hopefully those will help, the plant is taking up water again! Going to let her run for another 2 weeks and then chop her and try to salvage as much as I can. It's a learning experience! Appreciate the responses I got. On to week 9!
This week was chop week! The plants grew great over the last 9 weeks, despite all of the hiccups along the way. Definitely learned a ton this second time around whether that comes to airflow, knowing that I need to use supplementary nutrients next time, and getting better at knowing when to water the plant! The yield on this second grow ever was way more than the first grow, so I take that as a success. Just started germinating some G13 Auto Berry seeds, so excited to take all of the things I learned from this grow and apply it to the third grow! Very excited to get these guys trimmed and cured. Appreciate all of the help for this go around!
Holy shit this one was a doozy, plant went through it all -- even a move with me! She came back around in the final 3 weeks after I thought she was going to for sure die. She got harvested on 9/3/2021 for a total trimmed weigh in of 20g. It is now curing and will be in it's jar until I want to give it a test. Learned a LOT during this grow and am excited to apply it to Grow #3. Going to be using nutrients for the next one!
@PrinceCaspianGrows, unfortunately this batch did not end up in the sun. After the bugs ate the first group, my second try is indoors. They aren’t in a tent, just on a shelf with the window open, fans running, and a light on them.
However I have 3 clones that I am going to put outside this week!
@MamaJunebug, Thank you! I'm very interested in your grows as they are sunlight grows, I use a small 16' x 16" 48" tent with a 600w led light, unfortunately I live on the side of my building that doesn't get sunlight
@@Waylate, thank you -- it's been a tough week with fungal infections throughout the plant + moving to a new place (which the plant didn't like at all). Hoping for more flower growth this coming week!
