Switched to flowering this week. Plants haven't stretched as much as I feared they might. Touch wood. Introduced another light 2 days ago. I should have switched these 4 plants a couple of weeks ago but was forced to delay for various reasons. Will continue to feed half strength nutrients at every feed as they seem to stop growing in the periods after I gave just water. Have used a little defoliation combined with LST methods to try and spread them out as well as pinching and bending stems. Concerned that temperature is getting way to high so am forced to keep tent open whenever lights are on. Need to invest in a ventilation kit asap. Will switch to Bloom nutrients on Tuesday.
This is actually week 8. Mixed this up somehow. Borrowed a LED because I couldn't get the temperature down with the HID in the tent. Thankfully temperature has been nice and low ever since. Will have to invest in a decent but affordable one asap. Not long to go now. Yay. (Touch wood). About 9 days by my calculations is the expected harvest date. The full moon is in 7 days so they may be ready a few days early. Will keep an eye on the tricomes. Will keep trying to take a decent picture of them in the meantime.
Pretty overcrowded and am struggling to keep temp under 24C with the 315w light so have chucked in an old led and manually turn on the 315w when I'm around and can ensure it's turned off before lights out. So far so good, but getting nervous now.
Fucked up the lights about a 5 days ago. Left them on for 16 hours straight. Then was reliant on Google for advice on what to do about it. Ended up deciding to try and give them 24 hours of darkness before restarting. The restart ended up being even more disruptive that the extra light hours. Pulled timers and fucked around over the course of another 3 days trying to pick a time and stick with it AND not be a bloody forgetful fairy. Geekz Louise. Then ensued a huge panic that I'd created Hermaphrodites. But some advice and logic would point to the buds that have browned up being the ones I couldn't help but touch with my bare hands.
Transplanted 2 (The larger of the 2 re-vegged clones & the one I'm calling Minties 2.1) of the clones into 30L plastic pots with a 70% Coco/30% Perlite mix & half transplanted the unknown clone before admitting to myself I was way short of Coco and had to pack in the sides with 100% perlite till Tuesday next week when I can get some more Coco and redo and transplant the last clone, Minties 2.7. Earlier in the week found evidence of an unwelcome house guest so have sprayed all the plants with Wally's Neem Tree Oil at a rate of 5mls per litre of water. Will spray again tomorrow at the same rate. Am tipping the tallest 3 growing tips of each plant once a week (unless recovery is slow) for the whole of the vegetation stage.
