Ok Folks, this is the 2nd time I've started this diary, so it'd better save!😬 Apparently over the past few weeks GD has had some issues updating properly; my photoperiod diaries weren't showing new cover photos and the 2 diaries I started for my autos disappeared, it says there's 17 but only lists 15. So I wonder if after I finish adding these 2 again it'll say there's 19 when it only lists 17, who knows😩
Anyway...
I had this whole story in the first iteration of this diary talking about my love affair with Widow Remedy that I grew 2 seasons ago that I finished up this Spring and how I discovered it had wayyy more THC than I originally thought it did so it brought up my tolerance and how I wanted more uplifting and cerebral medicine and I felt like there was a hole in my lineup this year so I decided to add some autos and I really wanted some Pineapple Express but it was out of stock and blah blah blah...
These Green Crack Auto seeds by Fastbuds came to me from 207 Genetics. They're local to me and it was my first time ordering, but I think I'm going to be ordering from them more now. It usually takes 3-4 weeks for me to get an order from Seedsman, and with them revamping their distribution system it meant I couldn't get the strains I originally wanted for this year which was a bit disappointing. But 207 Genetics? I ordered these seeds on a Thursday and they were in my mailbox that Saturday. You can't beat that kind of speed!
I started these seeds on 6/14. I put them in CowPots; the bottom half had Coast of Maine Bar Harbor blend, and the top half was their Sprout Island blend, the thought being that the seeds would germinate in the seed starting medium on the top half and then shoot their roots down to the more nutrient rich potting blend on the bottom.
I placed them in a 1020 tray which had my Vivosun heat mat, thermostat set to 78F, and put it in front of a SE window.
They started pushing up on the 16th and were upright and at attention on the 17th.
