Germination

DrAnandamida Germination process: I hydrated the seeds in a glass of mineral water (-24h). Next, I used the tupper method with the damp napkins (mineral water)*. I should mention that we need to keep a close eye on this process because it varies a lot between different strains: a little longer and the girls won't make it... 😅 Finally, I planted them in the jiffys, making sure they don't get "burned" by the enriched substrate, Canna Terra Professional Plus, that I use for the pots. *Personal choice to cover the tupper with a black bag and keep it in a cupboard 😉

DrAnandamida After finishing germination and seeing the first pair of leaves, I moved it to the 7L pot. But I left it indoors for 1 day, avoiding the weather conditions and helping it gain a bit of strength. As for watering: Very little and pouring the mineral water gradually, letting the soil absorb it little by little. 😍

DrAnandamida This week the process seems to be going a bit faster than its growing companions 🌿 The stem seems to be growing well although it still looks weak. 🌱 We increased the amount of water, progressively, as the plants are asking/need it. I'm still trying not to use any kind of "extra help," except for the enriched soil from CANNA Terra Profesional Plus, where they are planted. So for now; mineral water, sunlight, a lot of patience, and a lot of love! 🤞😍

DrAnandamida The process seems to be going a bit faster than its harvest mates (Red Pure Auto) 🌿 The stem keeps increasing in size and consistency, so we won't need the pieces of wire that served as support/guides for its companions. We are gradually increasing the amount of water as the plants are asking/need it. I'm still trying not to use any kind of "extra help," except for the enriched soil from CANNA Terra Profesional Plus where they are planted. So for now; mineral water, sunlight, a lot of patience, and a lot of love! 🤞😍

DrAnandamida The process seems to be "full steam ahead" 🌬️🌿 The stem keeps growing in size and consistency, so we don't need the supports/guides, even though it has reached 33cm in height 🤩 We are gradually increasing the amount of water as the plants request/need it. DrAnandamida The process is going "full steam ahead" 🌬️🌿 Although I've encountered a small setback, some little leaves are being nibbled by tiny caterpillars. While it's true that I've only found a few specimens on its sister plant S.A.D. CBD, you can still see nibbled leaves on this strain. At least it seems to be the least affected strain... 😅 The stem continues to grow in size and strength, so we don't need any supports/guides, even though it has reached 43cm in height 🤩 We're gradually increasing the amount of water as the plants are asking for it/need it. I'm still trying not to use any kind of "extra help," except for the enriched soil from CANNA Terra Professional Plus where they're planted. We're sticking with mineral water, sunlight, a lot of patience, and a lot of love! 🤞😍 Although to control the appearance of little caterpillars, I've added: 20g of diatomaceous earth (Diatical from TRABE), directly on the substrate (1-2 times/month and can be applied at any time during the grow). 50ml of Super Kukulus (ecological plant fortifier)/1 liter of water for foliar spraying, both on the front and back of the leaves (2-3 times/week and can be applied at any time during the grow up to 2 days before harvest). Additionally, I'll add some small strips (Yellow Sticky Traps) for extra peace of mind; we'll see the results in the coming weeks! 💪😅

DrAnandamida Despite the small setback encountered last week (some leaves nibbled by little caterpillars), it seems that the process is still "full steam ahead" 🌬️🌿. The stem keeps growing, showing good size and consistency. It has already reached 53cm in height 💪🤩. We continue to increase the amount of water gradually, as the plants ask for/need it. I’m still trying not to use any kind of "extra help," except for the enriched soil from CANNA Terra Professional Plus where they are planted. We’re sticking with mineral water, sunlight, a lot of patience, and a lot of love! 🤞😍. We’ll see the results in the coming weeks! 💪😅 P.S.: The first pistils are starting to appear, which tells us that we’re moving from the vegetative stage to flowering 🌷😍.

DrAnandamida The cultivation is going "full steam ahead" 🌬️🌿. The setback with the little caterpillars has been resolved... The first pistils are already visible, an unmistakable sign that we are finishing the vegetation process and moving into flowering 🌷😍 The stem seems to keep growing, good size and consistency. It has already reached 64cm in height 💪🤩 We are gradually increasing the amount of water, as the plants are asking for/need it. I'm still trying not to use any kind of "extra help," except for the enriched soil from CANNA Terra Professional Plus where they are planted. And the best part is that IT WORKS! 💪😅

DrAnandamida The cultivation is going "full steam ahead" 🌬️🌿. Although it’s worth noting that there seems to be a slowdown in the process, possibly due to the heatwave we are experiencing. The pistils, instead of continuing to grow, seem to be turning amber. The stem keeps growing, good size and consistency. It has already reached 75cm in height 💪🤩 We are gradually increasing the amount of water, as the plants are asking for/needing it. I’m still trying not to use any kind of "extra help," except for the enriched soil from CANNA Terra Professional Plus where they are planted. We continue with mineral water, sunlight, a lot of patience, and a lot of love! 🤞😍 Although to control the appearance of small caterpillars, I’ve added: 20g of diatomaceous earth (Diatical from TRABE), directly on the substrate (1-2 times/month and can be applied at any time during the cultivation). 50ml of Super Kukulus (ecological plant fortifier)/1 liter of water for foliar spraying, both on the front and back of the leaves (2-3 times/week and can be applied at any time during the cultivation up to 2 days before harvest)...
