7/10 FUCK BLUE LABS!!!!! I have been waiting over 10 days on anything from them on my RMA for the 90$ ph pen that was supposed to make my life so much easier.... Crap right out of the box would not cal on the 4.0 solution. When i contacted them, they were not surprised it seems and told me to return it to amazon where i bought it. Explained i am past the return deadline <30 days> since i had been piecing together my supplies and building this grow tent for months becasue of being disabled. So they said they would gladly replace it and sent me RMA information. Was like well ok i guess ill deal with it and maybe delay a few days while shipping. Nope few days later i send another email to get a reply that they are working on it. Then i finally get an email more than week ago that rma was pending and they would email on the shipping.. NOTHING SINCE THEN Calls go to a generic voicemail regardless what time of day , they are Aussies. So I bought a cheap vivo sun pen, and well that was just craptastic also, so back to old fashioned GH liquid ph testing .... SORRY ABOUT THE RANT MATES!!!!! I am in process of setting up all the 5 gallon DWC and verifying i'm not going to flood my tent in the process. I ran all my air tubing, got buckets in relative position, though i am short 1 grow light at them moment im trying to scrape the cash together to get . But the girls look great I think ... the two upside down Betties look healthy. One of them looks a lil thin and not have the beginning of nice red in stem. Second set of leaves coming out so i really want to get in the pails today. Being visually impaired , having the complications i do from my Brain Tumors, well lets just say things go slow some days . I have 1 bucket with Nutes and ph tested and PPM lil on the high side but trying to follow FASTBUDS feeding guide, was the only GH expert guide i could find , and being they are a seed site that specializes in autos .. well figured good place to start. I feel like the schedule is a bit strong but .. again cant know until i get going ... This was really the first time i really took closer look at the root structures from the rapid rooter pods. NOTe : ZERO nutes were used up until now. Literally my well water which happens to be quite pure and ph even, was the only source aside from the rapid rooters, im a fan boy of these now cant wait for next drop whic is going to be Big Bang Auto , So all went well, was slightly nerve racking doing 7 separate buckets for nutes to prep and being slightly OCD, i was very careful with measurments for each bucket and testing followed. I allowed the buckets to sit with nutes in it overnight with plate on hole, and tested ph in the morning to make sure i was in range. BEING BLUE LABS SUCK BALLS , Im still waiting on my $90.00 ph meter but have gotten handle on the general hydroponics water test kit. But being someone who is visually impaired , both with colors and other various fun shit from brain tumors, it was quite laborous to measure and rmeasure 7 separate buckets.... , THAT BEING SAID .. I know understand the value of a nice fallponics setup with res. On to the stats PH in the buckets fell into the waht looked to be 5.5-6.5 range falling on the yellow green more than orange yellow, if you are familiar with GH test kit you know what i mean , the ppms were 700 ish which i know folks will say is high but again IM FOLLOWING fastbuds grow formula as a trial to benchmark and adjust as needed. Figure within 24-48 hours i should see a reaction in change to nutes from just the pods in some water. Right now 7 of the girls are under one cali extreme 500, with one being delivered Friday barring any crazy delays .... then will have twin extreme 500 . Read interesting article about UVB yesterday because been researching it for add on for my cli lightworks light, they now sell a uvb t5 ad on. BUT the article kinda debunked the whole theory and said actually doing more harm than good. Hmm ... definatly gonna try to find more on the topic Ok so mark the date 7/13/21 in the pot and the race is off. Next few weeks should be fun. I am homebound so i can keep close eye on them and gonna setup timelapse camera for kicks andgiggles

So learned not to place cob led too close to lil ones and I need to watch the temps in my buckets. Have some brown on my roots, so been freaking out, but after calmed down ad logicly went through realize a few things. Water level i should have dropped soon, giving more air , when the roots hit the bottom of netpots is should have dropped waterlevelsand i didnt, therefore too moist, that coupled with me not ramping up my air ... led to perhaps some adverse conditions... I alsor feel like maybe some clay from not washing the hydroton well enough contributed to the slight brown hue. The water itself , solution i mean has a slight brown color to it as is, but ph fell in around 6.2 and ppm varied in the buckets, the bigger girls were slightly lowerr falling in at 680 the smaller girls and less developed roots systems were in around 700 TODAy i am changing solutions to next phase and i ma adding hydroguard to he mix. I have been thinking hard about backing off my nute mix from the expert to the beginner or experienced , or somewhere inbetween The hydroguard i feel like i should have added from the getgo but thought the armor si and rapid start would do it... but i think the forumla i am following is lil off for my enviroment, will be giving hard look today. My gut says do a change out back off most of the nutes cept the core 3 and hydroguard, maybe one or two supplements but at the moment the count is 9 additives.... Overall the girls look great, running 18/6 on lights at a height of 28 inches . ill update more after i do some research

OK So had some non plant related as well as plant related issues this week. Been hectic with personal life, and still finding my groove with the girls .. I decided against any sort of training .... get it you can maximaxe and all but m all about letting them do their thing with some love and help, i feel like the hst and defoliation is just not for me at present time. If i get into commercial i definately see the advantages... Im growing for just myself , have zero friends and girlfriend doesnt really part take except the sometimes will hit a vape pen and shes done .. so all the fruits are for me and just do not see the need to mutalate my plants to get extra,, ill just grow more :D Recap : 5 - Barneys Glue Gelato Autoflowers 2 - "Freebie" Caramel Cream Aut o <I believe Maine Clone Company > though did not have label. All seeds came from AMAZING NORTH ATLANTIC SEED COMPANY .... ZERO issues ordering , shipping and popped 7 for 7 seeds even with some pretty disasterious goofs , see week 1 1. Struggled with Lighting - Definatly had the California Lightworks Solar Extreme TOO CLOSE .. now keeping a good 24 inches and will adjust soon with flowering 2. Struggled with PH - My well water is great .. low PPM and 7.0 ph . BUT i use ph down it seems each day with the top off water to bring the girls down from 6.5 - 6.8 to a nice 5.9-6.0 Eariier not too bad as the girls were not drinking so much ... which leads me to next 3. THEY ARE DRINKING BOY ... Holy cow this week they became drinkers liike i did not expect. I run my lights 2 pm to 8 am and turn off until 2 pm each day .... I top off in the morning before i put them to sleep , the bigger girls ... 4 of the glue gelatos autos are drinking almost half gallon each per day atm . While my lil girls <caramel cream autos > are much shorter and i have one gelato glue auto on the smaller side . They do not drink nearly as much maybe a quart . 4. I goofed on the BLOOM, I did not expect bloom so early i was planning on this week to start them .... but nope showed signs of sulfur deficiency , caught it early and changed the feeding to bloom cycle and WOW they took the hell off ... Have TREMENDOUS growth in past week sinced changed cycle ... Again im following FAST BUDS auto feeding chart for expert for general hydro to the T and adding HYDROGUARD 5. I have one caramel cream auto with mag deficiency signs on some bpottom fan leaves but i believe i got that fixed when i did the water change, not sure why just her , unless i goofed on the bucket mix. Which brings me to next statement ... IM INVESTING IN A GDAM 13 GALLON x 8 bucket plus RES kit for next grow ... Doing and maintaining 7 buckets is a royal pain in the ass . I honestly only expected 4 plants out of the 7 . AND expected fully i would kill something along the way I am visually impaired and BRain Tumor Dude .. so i gots some issues sometimes . .. but if you check out the videos i post in a bit here you can see, WTF i am doing ok i feel like . Great looking plants from my amateur opinion , always room for improvement as i am super critial of everything i do OCD/ADHD glorious combo BUT YES a better setup is needed for ease of use .. I bought my complete setup at PA HYDROPONICS , meaning my BUCKETS with fittings and hydroton . 200 bucks could not find better price anywhere he does a great fallponics custom build with 3 inch pvc that i have seen in action and tis a thing of beauty for us home growers. Plus i can add a small chiller to the mix to keep that temp a tad bit lower. IT about an 800 dollar upgrade BUT for the rest of my setup it belongs : vivosun 4x9 tent Ac Infinity T8 x 2 <one for vent one for blower , also have a great merv 13 filter box from ac infinity so as not to such in yuck from basement. 2 california solar extreme 550 So i figure adding an 8 bucket fallponics to fill the tent would look so much better tahn my 5 gallons and the constant checking each one and filling etc .... Having the res would be nice I also see the cons of it as if you goof you goof on all not just one .... But i m fairly certain i will upgrade. ***************** So right now it looks like nice buds are starting to form on all 7, the Glue Gleatos are much taller and full than the caramel creams ... I am tracking water being added and at this rate will need another change over in a day or two if drinking 1/2 gal a day and about 3 gallons <12 liters> labout inch from bottom of net pot. Rule of thumb being water change to replace nutes when you replace a volume equal to the total volume ... which is about every 6 days , last water change being 8/7 I will post some more when i inspect the ladies when i turn on the lights at 2 pm First time grower in setu

Water change day .. Drinking. 2000 ml each per day.. So 6 days on the nute change... ******************* 2 Buckets done .. 5 Left . I may leave the caramel cream autos until tomorrow , they are drinking slightly less per day , but the big girls are drinkers for sure .... So getting better at mixing nutes, bought giant bag of disposable droppers, god damn so much easier for me . I have visual impairment, and shaky hands from the brain tumors. The visual impairment is bad, but the shakes come and go . I normally get a few good rips on the Dr Dabber Switch before i start to help. But the mixing went much better . less mess and i simply pitched the pipette after each use . YEs i know wasteful .... but for me , for now its what i have to do. 1 pipette for each nute for each bucket, they are cheap enough. This way not contaminating anything, and at the amount im mixing, 3 mils - 20 mils each . Biggest problem i have, and i guess maybe not a bad problem ... I have 4 girls on one side of the 4x9 tent, and 3 on the other. The four on the one side are all Glue Gelato Autos and my lord I can not get to the back left side bucket at all with the amount of foliage. So moved a bucket to the other side to allow me to drop in a pail to do a siphon out and refill. See pictures... So I am 10000% upgrading to the 13 gallon x 8 fall ponic system after this grow ..... THANK GOD the caramel cream autos are half the size and 1 of the glue gelatos is slightly smaller on the right to allow me to move around the tent slightly, and im a lean dude.... But i am surprised each day when i check the progress just how far they have come for my first try ... Still have low expectationsfor crops and yields , but am loving the time learning and getting to know hydroponics. I TOTALLY get when the OG growers say just listen to them they will tell you what they need, legit all i have done is feed, maintain enviroment and observe. positive i can not make the same moistakes i made so far net time just by learning my lessons and understanding better the purpose for each Nute and how to spot when the plants are asking for them . Have not updated in few weeks, had covid and struggled with it even though vaxxed. Had to remove one plany from grow tent, she just would not go to flower likethe rest, read up about how sometimes need to go 12 12 to get them to start, but i was going to transplant to soil because once outside my tent i didnt wanna put her back in for fear of bringing in pests or anything else. In the end i just disposed of her, i actually felt bad.... but i knew i could not try to balance her and they rest which are in full bloom and currently , im writing this two weeks later than the pics.. and damn i have all i can handle in the tent as far as space now, so hindsight removing her was best for everyone involved

Oki Doki ..again, backdatingthis journal entry had a few weeks with covid in the house and just hate journaling to beginwith, ... so first week after taking the one plant from tent and again .. gives me 3 plants on each side , and barely any room to move. BUT they looked great ... ******************************************************** FUCK BLUE LABS AND ALL THEIR PRODUCTS ****************************************************** So after my first bluelabs meter was replaced the second one SEEMED to be good. MY FAULT for trusting it, without ranting too bad, lets say it stopped reading low ph after just a few short weeks and by me trusting it ENDANGERED MY ENTIRE CROP. ALTHOUGH i followed all directions and cleanings to a fucking T... my ph seemed a lil off, so went back to trusty general hydro liquid tester.. HOLY FUCK was bottoming out at 4-4.5 ph .... I literally took the ph tester outside put it on the fence and shot it to shit with my Saiga.... FUCK BLUE LABS OVERPRICED PIECE OF SHIT AND THEIR GDMAN AWEFUL customer service. Went with what an OG AG guy from local told me to grab, Apera PH60 with replaceable tip... WHAT A FUCKING difference using a scientific instrument versus a gdamn toy ... The case and the supplies that came with it .. A+++ the calibrating A+++++++++++++ 4, 7 and 10 within 2 minutes . Double checked with general hydro tits on even now .. weeks later as im writing this,, the apera is awesome quick easy to use and accurate as fuck. I WILL STILL SPOT CHECK cause of what happened before but ... GOOD THING is my girls are drinking mover a half gallon a day so by day 6 i need new nutes and was able to reset entire ph of plant pretty good. only one girl showed some stress by way of some cla mag def... again adressed with my last nute changes. ******* on to the good stuff ... BUDS look great , being first grow i see things i can do to improve all of it .. to get some denser fatter buds . BUT i think this will be a great harvest just trying to decide how to dry and cure. PRetty sure am getting a 2x4 tent and setting up as a dryer in my spare room upstairs , can close the door , set climate control and allow science to work. Will get 4 inch vent box to make sure no dirt or hair from animals i have have a chance , along with 4 inch blower x2 and cabron filter so as not to make my sig other reek of herb. figuring mid to late sept at most for finishing up. again im following FAST BUDS EXPERT formulas they had online for nutes for GEneral Hydro . I AM very curious to do another grow with advanced nutients , but have to say general hydro has been good to me. Visually impairer , brain tumor dude with issues with hands and movement at times --- I use pipettes and small measuring cups but you can glance at my nutes schedule each week . (well 6 days because of water consumption NExt post is i think bringing me current , will have better stats on the stats page and information. I just didnt have patience to check all the boxes and fill in all the blanks , I dont get many views so didnt feel too compelled to be disiplined enough. I have a personal journal i have in grow room i use for all my notes and fuckups to try not to make same mistakes next time.... until next one .. Cheers #fuckbraincancer
