My only question i have is about my light set up. My plants are 7 days today and i noticed that my plants are all facing towards the light. I have my light at 60cm from the top of the plants and 75% on the dimmer. The light is also 1000 Watts. The tent size is 4x4.
I know you say that your light is a 1000w but alot of the time this is not the case if it is a cheaper light from eBay or amazon they are often more like 100w the first led I bought was supposed to be 1000w but it was no where near that what light are you using?? I would drop the light closer and see if that helps 🙏
I know that I don’t have the best set up but I’m doing a hydroponic system. I’m using 13 gallons in 2 totes.
I’m trying to fix the lighting issue. The plants are growing toward the center of the light. I have the light set to 75% and its a 1000 watt LED light at 60 cm from the top of the plants.
I give each plant about 2 fl oz every time i notice the root riot start to get dry.
They look healthy, but I’m just worried that my light may become a issue.
Hi there, If the plant is not getting enough light ,they will stretch and look for light.If the light is too close, the leaves will start curling up and the space between internodes will be short.Also you can put your palm on top of your plant and check hot/warm.Your plant will feel the same.Happy growing... ✌️
So I just had a quick look at the light you have it's 100w also I just saw you not running 100% so try turning the light up to 100% but it's worth having a look on you tube seeing exactly what your light is giving off at optimal heights there are some good videos on there showing you the true reading par, Watts everything
If your light is a quantum board about 24 inches 100 percent on. I move plants farther away vs turning light down. It keeps my room temps where I want them is main reason. I don't have experience with that light in particular. But most boards like the spiderfarmer sf1000 and unit farm uf2000 boards 20 to 24 is close enough. On my 2 previous I mentioned. During flowering as close as I can get is 11 to 12 inches in a non sealed area without co2. Hopefully that helps. So in your case turn up that light and you might be in right spot.
