Hey guys, I’ve seen some posts where the plant is of an auto flower type, where the growers have topped it. I’ve also heard from many people that if I top my autoflower it will cause stress and flower? Any help clarifying this? 🙈

I’m not opposed to topping autos, I’ve done it myself with good results. But I’ve become a bigger fan of FIM pinching rather than topping. I wait until there are at least 4 nodes, then give a good pinch on the new growth at the top - I don’t remove any plant material at all, just pinch it together firmly. In my experience this causes a lot less stress on the plant and still promotes more colas and outward growth.

EuphoricDiaries It’s been looking really nice, I watered it one day late and it was quite saggy then a day after watering it was looking nice again but the leaves felt very papery so added a tiny bit of water extra, hope all this won’t be too stressful will it ? I was looking into start using voodoo juice, apparently it gets some crazy root growth, any good advice regarding voodoo juice? Also with that Can i add some flowering nutrients with veg (flower bloom and flower veg)? I’m assuming with the root stimulator I should see good results ? Thanks :)

Hi there! Yes VoodooJuice will increase root development, it can be compared to RootJuice or Rhizoponics. However this product should not be used after the 2nd week of flowering stage. You should have been giving VoodoJuice and other veg-nutrients earlier, during the vegetative stage (B52/SensiGrow/Tarantula..), in order to help her growth and maximize bud sites. Now it's a bit late for those optimizations, but you can increase bud fattening with SensiBloom/SensiZym/BigBud... On the other hand, your plant is short but still looks great, leaves have a beautiful dark green, and I don't see any symptoms/disease/deficiency/lockout, this means your soil mix is pretty good and the strain you're growing is quite resistant to such issues. I won't worry too much, try to increase yield with blooming fertilizers, and keep a close eye on her. I'll be around, keep us up-to-date so we can help you to adjust your parameters, and happy growing!

EuphoricDiaries Back again with the new weeks update Firstly I started realizing a little ‘deformity’(I think) on the top two new nodes. The nodes started coming out unsymetrically, not sure what this means or if it’s good or not so good? Also realized some bleaching on literally only one leaf and I’m assuming it’s nothing to worry about really? Secondly there has been very insignificant vertical growth and neither much horizontal in the past 4 days. Might this be due to lack of nutrients? OR is my soil still doing a good job(freedom Farms mixture) and instead it’s due to the Distance at which the CFL’s are from the plant?

Been super busy with other things and haven’t been able to update on my grow but everything is going superbly got some nutrients been giving nutrients every 6th day, the plant is absolutely massive. Flowering is coming along superbly just a bit scared of fluffy buds. IF anyone can give some pointers would be awesome :D

EuphoricDiaries All in all I was really satisfied by the genetics of this G13 labs Gigabud (auto). IT was strong and disease resistant. IT doesn’t need nutrients at all but I added some Dr Fischer’s flower bloom nutes, very small doses and every second water only. It dealt well with the conditions in my cupboard and was extremely smelly. The high was not as strong as I would’ve liked, but that always depends on strain and conditions. I honestly love growin as a hobby and with experience im expecting many wonderful flowers in future grows. Thanks to everyone who followed and helped out during the grow as well. :)
