I have clearly made a mistake by not training / defoliating these plants - The amount of growth over the previous weeks has been crazy, but now it’s starting to focus on flowering. The flowers are still very small but there are lots of them, thankfully – the big issue I have is that I have run out of room in the Lab! Width, depth and height are all maxed out… nothing I can do but trim and squeeze it in….lol
So I’ll try not to make this mistake again - doing a little LST and not using a net – one to remember for next time. Most stuff I have ever grown have been small plants in comparison.
The other big issue I am still fighting is humidity… it’s around 90% and I cannot get it to reduce, so lots of fans moving the air and the extraction fan changing the air in the Lab several times per minute – there are no visible signs of the high humidity, everything is dry, but the two meters I use both read very high and are located in different parts of the Lab. I will just have to keep a close eye out for mould and keep it windy….
But looking at the two plants, the Left hand side is only half the height of the right and nowhere near as bushy, genetics I guess as they have had the same growing conditions form day one.
pH has been somewhat troublesome to manage over the past few weeks, it changes several times per day and ranges from 5.5 to 6.0 - So checking it at least twice a day, is now the norm.
The plants are consuming around 1.5 – 2.5 litres of water per day and the roots are looking very healthy.
Also realised that my carbon filter and fan are located in the wrong space, sick of banging my head on it – so will readjust the Lab after this grow. Neaten things up a little.
