I start with about 9 clones, 5 survived, slow growth due to me focused on flower grow. I tied them down around the edge of pot and they grew out of it. First fabric pots, drys out fast, love it. We get heavy rain in DC, I had just watered and a rain storm came out of nowhere, it was like the wind and rain stressed trained the plants, and the fabric pots still dry out fast.
Been a minute, I'm playing catch up. Captions says it all. Popped 6 out of 6 beans from a male Headlights Kush Auto x King Tut, Blue Dream, and Chocolate Ming OG.
8/14 That white on the leaves is diatomaceous earth. All leaves look alike but I'm sure 3 are Purple Trainwreck, just not sure is other 2 are Bubblegum OG or Green Crack, hopefully one of each, fingers crossed.
I didn't see spider mites all through veg, didn't see until 3rd week of flower. Hit her with the diatomaceous earth a week ago, and hosed her down twice yesterday and once this morning and will again in a few hours. She really perked up after yesterday spray. People say don't spray during flower, I say it rains in it's natural habitat often and it does something for the plant, and if your not letting your plant get wet then pest will have a easier time to feast.
Week 4 of flower, almost the halfway mark. Found spider mites on one cola on Purple Trainwreck and King tut, now I'm hosing down everyday(should have been doing this) they perk up every time. They say you shouldn't spray during flower and temps should be just under 80, well in nature it rains and temps fluctuate. It's been 95+ degrees most days and humid and that plant loves it. I will say plants in late flower like low temps down in the 50s.
As we come to the end of 5 weeks I'm still not sure if I got Green Crack or Bubblegum OG. The smell is going, I smelled citris which is Green Crack but also Earthy Pine scent, I should know for sure in a couple of weeks,
First tea for flower at week 6. Only used 2 cups out of recommended 5 gallons, in 4 gallon bucket. Microbes going crazy with just a little drizzle of molasses. Clones need transplant BAD!!! I transplanted 3 that rooted but never grow because of poor drainage, they may not make it.
Another male, 4 seedlings left, clones still need transplant, I transplanted clones with bad aeration to reused soil just to see what happens. Plants been in the tent most of the week and spider mites went on a cola, I should have been spraying, getting lazy in the last weeks. Still not 100% sure it's Green Crack or Bubblegum OG, smells like GC but buds look OG which would be done at 8 weeks, we shall see.
I sprayed Green Crack too much and got powdery mildew. I trimmed pm and dried out the bud and smoked it. It aint crack but it is energizing and leaves you very alert.
Week 9 down! Found more bananas and the reason, one of my ducts wasn't long enough and was bringing in light from a window. I bump my head on one light and another light immediately flickered and one of the COBs died, no lie.
10 weeks and that's a wrap. Buds nipples are hard on both GC and PT. I tested some larf and the ashe was pretty clean, also found one mature seed from GC, a good one, then I lost it. Got a funny looking pink bud from PT. Some of the larf calyxes are pink
