This is week two of vegetation, after a week of germination. I have two Fastbuds Gorilla cookies in Coast of Maine Stonington Blend soil with 25% no. 3 perlite added, and with one-quarter cup of each of the following Coast of Maine products, dry kelp meal, dry alfalfa meal, fish bone meal and Stonington blend plant food. Also, one tablespoon of growers recharge. These five gallons of soil was then mixed with three-quarters of a gallon of tap water with 1.2 ml of Humboldts secret Golden Tree. I put the soil into the five gallon bucket and take the seedling from the four ounce cup and transplant it with and then soak the top with 10oz. of water mixed with a small amount of growers recharge and golden Tree. These plants will not again get water for at least twenty-one to thirty days They will be in pre flower at this time and will receive pre flowering nutrients at this time. I use Coast of Maine liquid squid and Advanced Nutrients big bud and golden tree for pre flower. In the picture, the two on the left are the Gorilla Cookies that are going to be documented in this grow.

I watered both of the girls on July 19th. They each received a gallon of well water run through a pur h20 filter ppm 200, with one teaspoon of Coast of Maine liquid squid fertilizer, 1/4 teaspoon growers recharge, 4ml of Fishshit, 1ml hum bolts secret plant enzymes, 2ml of Humboldt secret golden tree and 1/4 teaspoon unsulfered molasses. I have them in the tent know with all the big girls, and put them outside when there is good sun, which hasn’t been much this summer here in Maine. This is my first try with auto’s in five-gallon buckets. Don’t expect to water again till around August 3-5.

So, to clarify, all the pictures are taken one week apart on Thursday day morning. So 7/29, 7-22, and and 7-15, are the pictures you see. All exactly one week apart. No water since 7-19. Should be watering again in two to three days. Boy, they are doing good.

The GC on the left was watered on 7/31 and the GC on the right was watered on 8/1. Each got a gallon of H2O with one teaspoon Coast of Maine squid fertilizer 1/2 teaspoon Advanced Nutrients Big Bud, 1ml Humboldts Secret plant enzymes and 2ml of HS Golden Tree, 4 ml Fish shit and 1/4 teaspoon unsulfured molasses and 1/4 teaspoon Real Growers Recharge. The GC on the left also got two teaspoons of Coast of Maine Fish Bone Meal and a handful of their worm castings scratched into the top with the watering. I did not do that to the one on the right, because I forgot. I will do it after this wet/dry cycle with the next watering. They are drinking fast and should now, I guess, be getting watered every 7-9 days.

Both were watered on 8/20. The GC on the left received one gallon plus four cups of water. The GC on the right-one gallon of water. They both received the following nutrients. One teaspoon Coast of Maine Squid Fertilizer, one teaspoon Roots Organics/Soul-Bloom, one ml Humboldts Secret Plant Enzymes, two ml’s Humboldt Secret Golden Tree, one-quarter teaspoon Humboldts Secret Flower Stacker, 5 ml’s Fishshit, one-quarter teaspoon Real Growers Recharge, one-quarter teaspoon un-sulphured molasses. That was their last feeding and are now in flush. I will give them Real Growers Recharge and Fishshit on their next watering, and then just Fishshit. I’m hoping that what I packed in the soil to begin with will carry them out to a nice finish.

Both GC were watered on 8/28. The GC on the left received one gallon plus four cups of water, the other GC received one gallon of water. They both were given one-quarter teaspoon Real Growers Recharge and five ml’s of Fishshit. I did more defoliation and secured the branches on the GC on the left. I probably should have secured them sooner, as the buds are not as dense as the one on the right. My 5s is not the greatest camera but the trichomes are all cloudy and some are Amber on both. It’s now just a matter of letting the one on the right fade some more, and the one on the left tighten a bit. They are both ready as in the maturity of their trichomes. Within the next ten days, it should be a wrap on both. So, I came back on and posted this grow for all the beginners who really need a regime that will produce results and paying homage to Coast of Maine products, because my very first stab at this was three Fastbuds Gorilla Glue, one bag of Stonington Blend, one bottle of Coast of Maine Squid fertilizer, and 60/40 water/milk for the only pest control I knew to look for-powdery mildew. No perlite, no inoculates-nothing. Let’s suffice it to say, HappyFrog-Ocean Forest-Andvanced Nutrients-Mother Earth coco/perlite, and a myriad of other things later, and I realized that Coast of Maine products are in a class by themselves. Many failures later, I’ll say, my peace of mind in my grows is with Coast of Maine products, all other attempts are just experiments to further my education. A pic in the comments of those FB Gorilla Glues grown by a true Newbie.

Harvested both on Friday, 9/3. The double-top GC only yielded 51 grams of Bud. It is really is fluffy stuff. Good trichomes, moderate smell. Good buzz. The GC I always described as the one on the right, yielded 67 grams of Bud. Sticky, smelly, great buzz, top-shelf. I guess if I was to impart one thing from this grow, it would be to go back and look and see how little water was truly needed to get these plants to fruition. The wet/dry cycle. Take care everyone. Good growing.
