Everything seems to be growing fast now. I have been feeding with days in between waterings, but I think I am going to step that up a bit. Today’s watering I will water with the nutrient schedule of full on veg phase.
Need to research some nutrient schedules for autos vs fem seeds, but I think this plant will handle a pretty decent serving of veg nutrients for the time being. Thanks for checking it out, and any auto tips and tricks are appreciated.
Lots of growth this week and after a nute scare things are looking great and healthy again. Drinking a lot more, but still concerned I’m not seeing pistols yet. Went light on the nutes this week after a water feed in between my almost catastrophe… overall things are great… I think…
So this is my first time growing autos and they are not showing pistils yet and I am seeing things that look like they should have pistols but they are not shooting out like hairs yet. Do autos flower any differently than photo period strains? Thanks all!!!!!!
If your growing an XXL strain it could be awhile before it flowers. XXL Autoflowers get big and means they have a longer vegetation time. You'll get good yields on that strain, be patient. You chose a longer growing strain. In my opinion, good choice, you could try doing a 12/12 light cycle to try to get it to switch but Autoflowers just do what they want.
Had a feeling but finally showed it’s true self…..MALE!!!! Chopping time and I guess the end of this diary…. Next seeds will be FastBuds which I hear amazing things about! Excited to give them a try!
Grew out and began showing pollen sacs aka male once flowering started….. nice looking plant before then…. But game over, excited for my Fastbuds seeds!

I did a couple of auto grows after a decade of abstinence from growing. I've found that they do appreciate the nutes but in low doses from the bottle.
To be honest I think there's some nice auto strains and they're excellent fun. But I'm gonna need some convincing to run them again over photos. I'll do a few single beans maybe for fun
