First week! Watering with dechlorinated tap water. Pro mix biostimulant and mycorrhizae with come worm castings, extra perlite and gaia green dry ammendments. I really screwed up my last candy cane so I'm excited to see what these 2 bring me.
Cheers!
July 6-12th.
Got my 2 spider farmer SF-1000's at 40% output. Leaves were starting to curl on the one plant and weren't looking too "sharp" on the other. Probably over watering. I'm cutting it back a bit and near the end of the week I think I watered once with some water ph down to 6.2. Correct me if in wrong but the plants absorb nitrogen better at a lower ph range like 6.2 as opposed to absorbing more phosphorus later in flower when you'll be looking more for 6.8. PS Organic nutrients are not the same as synthetic for ph range.
July 13th-20th.
Well had some gnat issues it seems. My fault as I didn't have direct air flow on the plants and also think I was over watering. Just one fan above my lights going so I started up my fan on the plants and it all seemed to subside. They seem to be growing Ok. Probably would be better if I had a more precise watering schedule.
Water at roughly 6.2-6.5. Also brought the light a bit closer (30" to 20") and increased from 40-50%. Plants seem to be enjoying it.
July 21st-28th.
Lights turned up to 60-70% and still 20 inches away. Probably feeding in the next day or so. They both seem small but probably my fault for over watering. 1 is getting pistols while the other is still in full veg. Alittle low stress training this week. Nothing much to report! :)
July 29- Aug. 4
The one is exploding in growth while the other is short and stubby. Weird how the same seeds produce such different characteristics under the same conditions. Anyways, I fed them both on Aug. 6th. The plant in veg got 3 tbsp all purpose and 2 tbsp power bloom, while the one in bloom got 2 tbsp all purpose and 3 tbsp power bloom (5 gallon pots). Will see how that does them for the next while. I was using lemon juice to ph down my water but heard a few things about how bad it is for the plant (flavonoids I beleive) so I have since got phosphoric acid (20%) to bring the ph down and it holds the ph much better than lemon juice! The bigger plant has some pistols now so they are both officially in flower!
Aug. 5-11th
@GODSGIFT_2005_JM, those GG#4's look awesome! I have some C99 phenos to grow after this than I'm definitely hunting down some GG4...the resin production on them is astounding!
@Legendaryseedthumb, I hear ya! I had the exact same issue with my other grow. Salvaged maybe 20% and it's garbage cannabis, only good for edibles. I guess we live and learn!
