Plants have taken off after hardening in 110 degree heat dome. Pics from July 18th. They look pretty happy!😀 This is my first legal grow - and first since high school! This is way more fun than high school, however. Big up to darkheart nursery. Picked up my clones and they are healthy and beautiful!

The banana mango must be on roids! It’s doubled the size Of the others. If you are looking for a desert plant that handles 100plus F without being bothered - this could be your gal!

Still Hot AF! We’re at 100F everyday. All except the jelly rancher seem fine with it. The banana mango isn’t bothered. It’s interesting the heat difference on strains. All were planted the same time July 24, for the first time high today will be 90! Not 100! Shooting up like rockets! July 27th - supercropped the banana mango and it’s crazy wide and like a huge solar array! It rained yesterday! Real, soaking, non-drought rain. The plants loved it…

Should I switch these girls to bigger pots for flower? They are in 5 gallons. I have 30’s I could put them in or will it be a waste because they aren’t so big yet? I’m assuming we start flower in about 10 days (not scientific lol just best guess)😎

Putting them in 30s this late in the season and considering the current size, would be a waste in my opinion. Leaving them as they are now is probably all you will need, considering how little summer is left and the small size of your plants and the fact flowering would be commencing soon, so there won't be any real need for 30 gallons of soil due to the limited amount of growing they will be doing before flowering starts. If it were May, I would say definitely, but being nearly August, I can't see a need for 30 gallon pots. If you are really keen, 10 gallon pots would be the most suitable for this time of the year and for your situation, in my opinion. I doubt I would bother with the weirdo though, could turn out to be a waste of soil in my experience. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Oops! Well, the two days in the 80s and nights in the 70s sent my girls into high desert flower! That and two out of season rain days and BOOM! We are now a flower farm! To be honest, I wasn’t sure at first- then, yesterday morning, three bees bee lined and flew to each of the bud sites. My hand wringing (was it or wasn’t it flowers?) was answered - by Mother Nature herself without muss or fuss. No more salad! Flowers! Also, a shock to no one, I bought a ruler yesterday, and while I listed my plants as 29 inches, I sadly have no idea what 12 inches really is. They are about 18 after supercropping. Needless to say other measurements were, sadly reconsidered…. 7/31 transferred banana mango to a 30 Gallon pot 💪

Well, only the banana mango is flowering - I’m happy to let the other girls veg and hope for larger yields. Got hot again yesterday. 105. 107 today. Been spraying the yard with water to increase humidity and bring the temp down a few degrees. Ready for the heat to be gone. Also, this garden is the best thing I have ever done. Totally centering and purposeful. 😇

Plants are chugging along. Water uptake seems to have doubled. Watering about a gallon a day per 5 gallon pot.. Buds are growing together and getting thicker! Can it be harvest soon, please?😜

Just came out to check the plants and bugs! First time I’ve had any and I’m freaking out. Does anyone know what these are and how to get rid of them?

Those are aphids. I had a bad infestation last year. Doctor zymes plant spray works wonders, helped me get rid of the infestation. Have to spray once a day for 3 days straight and you should be good.
