I started these 2 from seed from Growers Choice. Apparently I was lucky to get photoperiod seeds and not auto flower. I started germination around the beginning of March 🌱 My wife accidentally threw them all away thinking the paper towel was trash 😩. She found 3 and I put them in dirt cups I had made with composting the entire summer before

Right on time both plants went into flower. I started using DynaGro Bloom, the only nutrients I’ve used on this grow. We got this far on composted grass clippings, leaves that fall in my yard, dog poop and left overs. Both plants are staked at a 45* and are almost as long as they are tall.

There’s pics of the length of the plants currently with them staked at a 45. Finally have official numbers for how “tall” they are as well. The taller one wasn’t topped as many times as the short one.

I started giving the twins dynagrow bloom 2 weeks ago, 2.5 tbs twice a week, on Tuesday and Sunday. The flowers are starting to look like buds ❤️ long white hairs growing out of every nook and node. Clusters of goodness taking over the long thick stalks. I’m averaging about 3-4 inches a week in “height” (my plants grow sideways so… width?) I’ve only grown one time before, whatever the strain was it was nothing like these feminized GDP. I can’t wait to see what they look like next week.

Another hot week down. For the most part, we have gotten A LOT of rain this summer. I’ve had issues with certain plants in my garden dying for absolutely no reason. I pulled a squash plant that was wilted and the base of it was mush (last picture I uploaded), and full of grubs. The squash plant was right next to my two GDP’s. I checked the other squash plants and found that 80% of them were full of these grubs. I’ve never had a garden, and I’ve never had a serious grow before, so obviously I’m panicking. I have insect/grub killer for my lawn that I never used, and spread some of that throughout the garden and around the twins, and immediately turned the sprinkler on and left it for a few hours. I’m hoping and praying it’s not too late, all my weed plants look happy and healthy still, but I still intend on getting something better, and more geared towards getting rid of grubs around gardens. What do you think?

I tried to get fancy with my photos this week. Trying to take advantage of the early morning sun cascading throughout the trees that line my property. I’ve learned that there’s not too much to report when you grow outside. The twins are thriving and happy. They’ve taken to the Dynagro Bloom I give them twice a week (3tbs/gallon). I have slowly scaled up to the amount I give them as to not shock or poison the plants. I’m shooting from the hop on this, but it appears to be working. I have giant dense beautiful buds forming on every branch. I would like to get some more twine and start tying down the branches to get more sunlight into the core of the plants. Hopefully I’ll accomplish that today.

LOOK AT HOW FAT THEY ARE. I just tied a few branches back to open them up and allow more sunlight into pierce the plants. They appear to be extremely happy. I found one of their main rooms 3 feet From the plant, thick and green.. is should have snagged a pic.. I will though. It’s just odd. I’ve doubled up on the bloom nutrients, so far so good. I feel the buds have doubled in size in the past week.

Buds are getting so dense and thick 🤤 so many little white hairs! I’m so excited! I went through and got rid as many fan leaves as I saw suitable, to allow more light to penetrate into the plants. They’re also tied down to open them up as well. It took away a lot of the bushy look but gives you a clearer look at the big top buds the plants have produced. At the base of the colas they’re thicker than my arm on almost every one of them. I can smell them before I see them and you can notice some frosting starting. It’s gonna be a good harvest if I can keep the neighborhood dirtbags at bay.

MOLD 😡 No matter what I grow I’m fighting with this shit. Mushrooms, weed, constant battle. I feel like I cut all my fan leaves off at a bad time. Two days later the temperature dropped to the high 30s at night/morning with 50 - 60 degree days. I’ve lost a little less than a half oz to mold. When I come across it, I pull the whole nugget. I’ve used rose mold killer with a low percentage of neem oil, didn’t make much of a difference. Another product I used just let nights active ingredient was .02% citric acid, I only need a couple more day’s (the weather is in the 70s now). I plan to cut down the big colas tomorrow, and let all the other nuggets stay until they tighten up a bit.

I started these at the beginning of March. I tilled compost soil I made the summer before into my garden bed. I transferred them from pod to my garden March 29th. I’ve staked them at a 45 a few weeks later and topped them several times.

Although the plant was still attacked by mold, I didn’t lost the whole thing. It’s a smooth smoke with a very couch-like high. Don’t smoke gdp if you’re planning to accomplish something 😆 I gave it the 2 hit test and it passed. Very heavy body high and foggy in the head, over all a great night time smoke after a hard day. Very relaxing.
