5 of 5 seeds have a 3/4" tail and have been transfered to the RDWC in rockwool with a top feed sitting just under the cube.

Occasionally you might get one that sinks straight away but I find most the time they float, after about 8hrs I tap mine with a pen then they sink and then I wait about another 12 hrs before planting the seed.

Clay pellets actually hold a lot of moist and more then enough air. You can put a slow drip on the cubes them self or just an inch or 2 away. Either way once the roots break free of the net it's best to remove the drip system if your RDWC. Drip is only good for starting. That's just my personal opinion. I use rapid rooters and hand drip them 2 times a day heavily until roots break the net pot. Check out my DWC diaries to see. Nice setup by the way. Its awesome.

AreDeeDubbleyouSee Day 8 - 3 of 4 sprouts are loving their new life. One of the newly sprouted sprouts is acting weird as fuck though and has stretched 1.5x the other 3 under the same light.
Day 11- Plant #1 doing well, did show some minor signs of wind burn due to me being a dumbass and pointing a fan directly at it.
Day 11 - Plant #2,3,4 have stunted growth and have barely grown in two days compared to plant #1. I pulled a boner move and repositioned the rockwool cubes deeper in the net pot because I felt they were too exposed to the elements in their current position thus moving their roots around and probably shocking them.
Day 12 - PPM 470, PH 5.9. Sick of watching slow growth and pulling a hail mary to kick growth into high gear.
-Plant #1, #2 and #4 are taking extremely well to PPM increase. Plant #3's secondary leaves have barely grown and the seedling seems to have stretched further towards the light.

Is it normal for a seedling to stretch closer to the light than the other 3 seeds and have stunted growth? All 4 have equal light and run on a RDWC getting equal nutes.

You should be running them at 5.8 ph and from the time they are born I feed at 400 ppm for new burns and every week I increase by 100 ppm as long as you see good growth. Stop when you reach 800 ppm. Your water is best kept at 62 to 68 degrees to have maximum amount of oxygen in the water for your roots. A good heavy air stone in each bucket. If you haven't got a chiller then frozen water bottles around and in your rez to keep your water cool. 5.8 ph Is the perfect setting for veg and 6.2 6.3 for when their in flower. Run some 5.8 ph water over your rockwool and clay to make sure your medium is properly ph'ed.

Plants took very well to nutrient increase. They seem to have been stalled out for a while due to low PPM and a higher PH of 6-6.3. All plants seem to have balanced out and seem to growing at equal rates now.
Update - 2 of 4 plants ended up with nitrogen toxicity. Flushed with Ph 5.8 water and diluted nute solution down to 400ppm. Aug 11 - plant 1 still stunted and hasn't rooted into the water yet.

Ok. Stop feeding all the extras and just go with your micro and grow until she gets a little older. Run 5.8 ph water through your clay to get them to the proper ph. Cut your feed back to 400 ppm 0.8 ec until you seem good growth and then increase every week by 100 ppm until you reach 800 ppm 1.6 ec. Keep your water cool with frozen pop bottles in and around your rez. Cheers

AreDeeDubbleyouSee Unfortunately I had to leave town for work for 2 weeks straight. I didn't feed them that entire time and 3 out of 4 of them just blew up regardless of nutrients and monitoring ph levels. The PH dropped to 5.4 by the time I got home and didn't seem to affect them at all other than the dud in the bottom left corner. I can't think of anything other than bad genetics for that one. Oh well, it's RDWC so it's along for the ride anyway, I'm curious to see what happens with that little fucker when I switch the lights next week. Stay tuned.

AreDeeDubbleyouSee After supercropping, they have been filling the tent with explosive growth. Unfortunately the dud on the bottom left will be getting the axe when I get home from work in two days. It's evidently a dud with piss poor genetics that doesn't even look like the same strain to me. It's waxy, extremely short and just not on the same planet as the other three. With it being a RDWC system and all 4 plants getting exactly equal nutrients I can't chalk it up to be anything other than that. With that being said, shit happens and I'll be switching to flower this weekend and can't wait to see what the next few weeks bring for the 3 monsters. Fuck yeah.
