June 15th, 2018 Now Lucy is starting to pick up steam. By day 28, she's developed some preflower pistils. I'm really hoping the cooler nighttime temps will give her a rich purple color as it's starting to look like I got a pheno that wants to. Growth is really healthy and she's just starting to lush out. Still have not fed her a growth or bloom nute yet and it's really pushing my patience. Four weeks in and still no sign of a deficiency. I'm gonna keep this simple and wait for her to ask to be fed. For now its still 10ml of roots and 5 ml of seaweed.

I have a pretty decent heat wave stretch coming my way late next week after the 4th. What’s the best way to protect an outdoor crop in full sun during a heatwave? Obviously the easiest way would be to move it, (she’s in a container) but I have a tarp on hand as well.

Hi there if you’re going to be at home then you can monitor your crop and how they are holding up. I can see you’re using the GO line of nutrients I’ve used them and think highly of them especially the kelp product Bio Weed using this in combination with your Dimond Back you’re plant will be able to handle the heat much more effectively. Start feeding it light feeds whilst it’s cooler. Then do a heavy feed with good run off to saturate the pot on the morning of a day you expect to be hot. Be careful not to overwater though as this in turn will have negative effects when it’s hot. If you would like a tip get a airstone and pump and always bubble your water 24 hours before adding your nutrients. Good job so far!

Funny I see your diary- this morning when I opened one of the tents another John Lennon song started playing and has been stuck in my head all day. Monday is my day for updates- check out my diary “Sheila “ and you’ll get a laugh. Lucy looks good 👍🏼

@ChefDan420, Thanks for the compliment! I'll be sure to check that grow for updates on Monday. Right now it looks like a pretty awesome ScrOG grow...so many tops!!

Good luck! What thoughts have you done on harvesting? Looks about similar to mine😀

@Magich, My process usually consist of taking a few small wet samples from the lower half, drying half of it, then comparing the two. Since this strain is more indica leaning I’ll let it go a little while longer than usual for an auto, like 11 weeks or so, then chop when I see mostly red hairs and amber trics.
