It took a few days for the seed to pop up. I tried another Dutch Blue at the same time but only the Auto Amnesia came out and trying the DB again with another seed. On another note, because where I live is too hot and humid (thanks climate change), I ordered a bigger tent so I could put the portable AC Unit in the tent as well as grow other vegetables on the side.
Decided to switch on the AC as long as the lights are on to maintain a more stable temperature during the day. Also started feeding her nutes but only at quarter to half dosage
Looking at other people's grow, she's definitely growing a lot slower than normal. I'm guessing it's the distance between the light (cause the photoperiod plant (Nicky) preventing me from lowering the lights) and the amount of daytime. Also, electric bills are getting a bit too high and after seeing someone growing at 30*C above, I don't mind giving it a try with plenty of air circulation. Can't wait for the photoperiod to be harvested so I can focus on the upcoming autoflowers.
I wish she could grow bigger but there's limitations at the moment and I just can't wait for a bigger tent. My portable AC is starting to leak water which is a good thing cause it increases the humidity of the room? Hahaha. Anyway, they're all thirsty now and I gotta water around 3 times a day.
Finally got the big tent and got the environment dialled in. With the AC in the tent, it's way more stable now; this also means I can close the distance between the light and the plant and she's definitely growing better.
Now that I got the environment stable, it's nice to see her bud sites popping up. Did a bit more LST on her and hopefully when Nicky (the photoperiod) is done, I can boost the lights to 18 hours a day.
She's really popping off with her bud sites. Short but definitely promising. Managed to tidy up the grow tent a bit and did a bit of cable management so I could put in the dehumidifier. Hoping to reach lower RH from now on.
With the switch of 18 hours of light, Aimee is definitely growing well. She is looking a bit skinny but I won't get myself into paranoia and just give her time. I think this will be the last time I LST her as I'm satisfied with the flat canopy. Now it's just about feeding her and enjoy watching her grow (:
her pistils are definitely showing up. hoping she would grow thicker in the next 2-3 weeks. first time growing a sativa and seems pretty skinny so far compared to indicas.
Been hitting her with the Bio Bizz nutes and looking good so far. However, she IS turning purple and it's a bit concerning to me. The purple is nice tho, not gonna lie. Can't wait to see how fat she's going to be in the next few weeks.
She's looking really good so far and the smell she leaves on your hands after handling her, incredible! Her old fan leaves are dropping off and today is the last day I feed her nutes. It'll just be flushing from now on and checking in on the trichomes every once in a while.
She started out tiny but definitely surprised me halfway through. She doesn't really smell as a plant but in the jars and paper bags, she smells like berries and watermelons. Only been a week since I dried her in the fridge but I can't wait so I'm going to try to smoke some of her tonight. I also had to harvest partially as some of the lower buds are not quite ready yet which means I'm not done yet as of now. Will update more soon.
