Just starting to share my second experience!
I was so excited about this new crop that I forgot to do a crucial process in the germination phase. I completely forgot to put my seeds into the water, I went straight to put them inside a soaked wet paper towel, and after two days I realized that but was too late. Even with a bad starting, I believe that I'll get beautiful flowers.
What I'm doing differently from my first attempt?
The soil is the same (coco, compost, perlite and vermiculite) but now instead of using plastic containers, I'm using grow bags. Another action is that I'm adding nutrients to the soil since the second week (in the first crop I started only in the second month. I'm also trying to grow an "extra" seed in a plastic bucket because I didn't want to throw away that extra germinated seed, so I bought a small pack of compost and I insert her in that "poor" soil but actually, now, she has the best green between all them. Let's wait to see how she'll behave.
Another improvement that I decided to do is buy a better extract fan in the top and also add another to help to dissipate the heat from my dehumidifier. A third one is pulling air into the tent.
What I learnt from my first and I'll keep doing it?
As I did in the first crop, I keep inside my grow two Basil plants as companies to prevent some undesirable insects.
After watering them, I wait until the soil gets really dry.
That's it, happy grow and peace for all.
Great job..your NL looks like it's ahead of the pack, that's a great classic strain (very popular up here)... happy flowering friend! β€οΈπ‘π±π½π¨
