So first things first, I have 4 plants but I've only put 2 plants (Afghan Kush and the Rhino Ryder) in this diary because my other two are ahead in different stages ( So technically those two are my first grow but this is the first time making a diary about it so I'm using these (AfgK + RR) plants that have just come to Veg. I lost track of my other two and I'm just waiting to see what will happen to them as I defoliated one and the seed from the other was just randomly found by a friend (as I stated in a further stage). I will make another diary about them if I can find the time to go back and recollect dates so I'm just going to continue with the most recent seeds that I germinated from FastBuds. Also I just want to clarify. I have not tested pH, EC or PPm because I haven't got the knowledge or the finances to do so. I am very aware that it helps probably more so essential and is something that I'm going to look into in the future for definite. I have a shoddy wardrobe conversion that I have worked on for the last couple of months gathering all the required bits and bobs. It does need a few more bits added to it but for now it's all I have. I have to work with with what I got. Note: My wardrobe only holds 2 plants in a 5L pot with a "run off" tray underneath perfectly so everyday I have to alternate 2 plants to sit under the light in the wardrobe and 2 sit IN FRONT of the wardrobe, SHARING the light. I rotate the plants that sit in front 180 degrees so it doesn't grow to one side. . I'm using a HPS dual spectrum bulb and it gets very, very, hot with the doors closed even with a clip on fan so I leave them open with a rotating tower fan for 18hrs. THE ONLY VENTILATION IS MY BEDROOM WINDOW! :P I give them all 18/6 but leave 2 in the wardrobe overnight and I put 2 in the downstairs cupboard so they get the rest period. Anyway, today marks two weeks. The Rhino is struggling but it's doing it's thing and the Afghan is doing well considering the growing medium is just garden soil. The Rhino doesn't seem to be liking the garden soil so much but for now my priority is to get some more medium so I can replant these ladies and give them a better grow environment (I have my other 2 plants in coco).

Right so basically, a week ago today marked a month for these ladies and because I had a broken phone it was very hard to keep up to date with the journal but hopefully now I can keep on top of this grow for you guys. It's been 35 days since germination for the Rhino Ryder and Afghan Kush. I'm using soil from the back garden and now that there is a bit of foliage, with the watering etc. The humidity has risen to a level I'm not happy with to which I'm going to invest in a portable dehumidifier to bring down the moisture in the air. I had to defoliate as it was getting really bushy and the fan was struggling to get air through the fan leaves. I cannot believe the RR, started off as the most finicky plant from germination and now it's the tallest f***er of the 4. She has shot up! I looked at the yellow tips on the leaves and apparently it's a lack of Iron. I read that Iron deficiency can be left to work itself out typically if it's not severe. Usually after a few days after the leaves are left to expand the yellow disappears and they turn a nice fresh green colour. The smell in here is fantastic! Until next time! ;) Happy growing and much love from the Shire!
