It’s a personal thing honestly, you gotta find what works for you. That said you gotta try some stuff to figure that out first.
Personally, it comes down to how long you want to wait to flip to flower cycle light 12/12.
If you want to start flowering in the next 10 days - top it and leave 3-5 nodes, allow 7-10 days recovery time and switch to 12/12
If you wanna do more substantial training and are not in a rush to flower - you can do stuff like manifolding/mainlining
Which will give you some bigger yields..

Ramgi First week of flowering, I’d say it’s going well, the girls are growing at an average of 3cm a day. I did a light defoliation and added BioBizz's bio blum to the nutrient solution. I also created supports to replace the SOG net, which I find very uncomfortable.

I think you’re talking about the stretch in this question.
The majority of the stretch will happen the first 4 weeks of flowering. After that it’s mostly bulking.

Ramgi From the looks of it, I have to say that last week went really well. The buds are swelling and stretching, the smell is getting more intense day by day, and those little leaves near the flowers are starting to turn white with resin. Starting tomorrow, I will change the feeding regimen; I will lower the BioBizz Bloom and increase the dose of Bac organic pk booster.

Everything looks good to me, Nutrients are on par. Plant looks happy and healthy. Keep an eye on the leaf tips. If they brown then you have added to many nutrients. Its better to be on the lower side. A hungry plant will produce better buds then an over fed plant. As for roots you could get some Root Juice, but I don't think its necessary. If anything getting some Top-Max would be more beneficial.

Ramgi A week without problems, the little group of Critical Haze has milky trichomes and 25-30 amber ones. I think I'll be harvesting soon.
The little group of Blue Gelato 41 is slightly behind, which is totally understandable since Barney says it takes 70 days of flowering compared to the 60 for Critical Haze.
I can't wait to taste it! 😍

Ramgi After the second wash done at the beginning of the week, the girls seemed tired with hook-shaped leaves, but a few days later they bounced back, and finally the Critical Kush told me Harvest ready.
The Blue Gelato 41, on the other hand, are still a bit behind; I'm waiting a week so they can finish maturing. The sweet aroma fills my grow room and is truly intoxicating, making my mouth water 😋.

Ramgi As with every run, I realize that I made several mistakes; I should have pruned a bit more, the training I did wasn't enough............. I have to say that both genetics turned out to be excellent, easy, and productive......................,.....................
Update ....................................
After 14 days of drying, I found the taste of Gelato 41 to be simply unique. I still can't distinguish the various flavor nuances, but one thing I can say is that it’s really excellent.
