This grow diary will feature Amnesia Haze by Expert seeds and is my second grow. This pretty lady is just about 5 weeks old give or take. She was on a family members outside farm and he let me have several plants in exchange for some labor. Works for me 😄 She has been in the tent for a couple days and she just got topped. I've also started some light training. She is a really healthy, happy plant and has really thick stems. My plan is to grow her out a few weeks, to transplant her to a slightly larger smart pot, and scrog her along with 3 other plants. She is currently in a 7gal plastic sack container in fox farm soil and I'll be moving her into a 10 gal smart pot. She was given a nutrient rich tea before I picked her up. I hope to have nutrients ready by next week as I had to order some. I will be running the basic 3 part from Humbolt Nutrients. She will be under my Timber Grow Lights redwood vs 600w light in a 4x4 tent.

Start of week 2 I started noticing little white spots appearing on the leaves of a couple of the other ladies. Upon closer inspection with my trusty jewelers loupe I found thrips. The damage on the amnesia haze was fairly minimal I'm glad I caught it in time. I got some Monterey insect spray, mixed up a batch and applied to all 4 plants. Several days later still no sign of thrips I think I caught them early enough. As far as feeding my nutrients were delayed in getting shipped to me. This week she got another gallon of water mixed with 1 tsp of Big Foot Mycorrhizae (made by a local Oregon company The American Root company), 1 tbs molasses, 2 tsp of bat guano and 5ml of CalMag. Definitely not ideal but it will have to do until my nutes arrive.

Week 3 not much to report. Following the Humboldt feeding schedule. Right now she is getting 1 gallon every 5 or 6 days. She is demonstrating a lot of apical dominance so I'm using green garden ties to bend the branches down to get her to bush out. Expert seeds says this strain can take 70 to 77 days to finish so I plan on her being the last one to get chopped with my other strain in the tent goin 65 to 70 days. The plan is to veg for another 4 weeks or so to completely fill my space before flipping to 12/12.

Week 4 of veg and she is humming along. Still watering 1 gallon every 5 days or so. Did a foliar feed at the week midpoint this week with some Beneficial biologics Bene-fish and CalMag as there were a few signs of light deficiencies. She perked up quite a bit after the feeding. Also got my scrog net built using PVC and zip ties. I'm a little nervous I let these girls grow a little tall hopefully I don't run out of space. The ladies are about 30 inches or so away from the light. I'm planning on moving the light all the way to the top of the tent, moving the net down and letting the plants grow into it over the next couple weeks after I transplant to their final buckets before flipping to flower. Pro tip don't get high and start putting the net on from the front of the tent or you'll find out like I did how difficult it is to reach to the back of your tent lol.

Week 5 overall and I have gotten all the ladies transplanted into 10 gallon smart pots. The 7 gallon bags they were in were a little too tall for the 10 gallons pots so instead of breaking up the roots to make them shorter I used some plastic garden edging to add height to the pots, attaching them with zip ties. I also lollipopped before putting the trellis net down. Now I'll have easy access to the plants when I need it. I'm going to continue working these ladies into the net until I have a top in every space.

Week 6 of veg. I don't have a lot of pictures to share this week as I was not in the garden much other than to water and to train the plants along the trellis net. This girl is now drinking around 1.5 gallons every 4 to 5 days. I forgot to take a picture the last day of the week but the trellis net is now nearly 100% full. I'm planning on flipping the lights and going to week 1 flower next week.

Week 1 flower. Following the nutrient schedule I added .25 tsp of Humboldt nutrients Big Up powder to the water for week one. I watered on 6/19 and went on vacation till 6/23 and I was blown away by the growth in that short period of time. I have also been increasing the intensity of the light by about 50 watts per week. I'm now pulling about 400 watts of light. I'm aiming to have the light at the full 600 watts by the end of week 4 flower.

Week 2 flower and this lady is starting to pop pistils. I'm really happy with how well she is doing. She is stretching but not as much as I would have thought given her Sativa genetics. Most tops are 8 to 10 inches above the net. I was afraid I might run out of room but assuming she doesn't stretch a crazy amount the next week it doesn't look like I will. As far as water she is now drinking 2 gallons per feeding.

Week 3 of flower and this girl is really starting to stack and form buds. By the end of the week I started noticing a number of lower leaves showing signs of an N deficiency so I plan on giving a little bit more the next feeding. Other than that she is quite healthy. As far as smell she is not too stinky yet but I still have my fan filter running 24/7.

Week 5 of flower and this lady is continuing to grow nicely. She is packing on buds and continuing to frost up. The smell is sweet with a hint of fuel. About halfway through now just have to hope nothing bad happens until harvest.

Those pistils are beautiful. Density for this stage looks good.
