This is my first grow. And as a first timer I have many question on whether anything I'm doing is going to be the right things. So I got these seeds of a guy on Facebook and when they came in the mail I already had question in the origin of the seeds but nonetheless I got some seeds of super lemons haze and girl scout cookies and had them going in soil within a week or so. I used a mix of regular soil and supersoil as my soil mix as well as some Coco husk hairs mix in lightly. I water every 2-3 days as the soil dry almost completely within 3 days

First week of vegatative growth still on the small side but going smoothly overall. Water every 2-3 days depending how dry it gets and then re-watering with 190 ppm all purpose plant food once this week then other times with water again. pH averaging around 6.2 but still having some issue with pH. Will top one or them next week and attempt mainlining

This week I did LST and topped both plants. Started to bend the GSC to a mainline structure but not sure if I'm doing it correct. Fed both plants with roughly 250 ppm of plant food and other days with plain water.

You look on point for the age of the plant. She will start getting bigger during the next week and you should be able to train her again.

4 week done now and progression feels to be paying off. I found a way to get a consistent pH that works for me and by the end of the week the girls started to really start to grow and move. LST almost everyday but most of the time I like to wait a couple days. But the plants at moving quicker. Up the ppm to 400 + and top soil with a giant mix of things which will run it course for the next 2 weeks or more depending on how I want to handle it. Week 5 looks promising. Hoping for some prominent stretching and some extra foliage. This time I ran 6.2 pH but next time will get a perfect run with 6.4-6.5 pH to really have them drinking. Started introducing more air in the room to enhance the co2 more as well. The circulation was good already but, always nice to have an abundance of c02

Is this pre flower ? ( Week 4 ) Plant really taking off at the end of the week and I think pistils are showing. Is this pre flower ? Or just some young foliage

Those are absolutely stigmas/pistils which are showing the sexual maturity of the plant.. it means she’s female. If it’s an autoflower plant, it has begin its preflowering stage and will start putting on flowers in the next 2-3 weeks. If it’s a photoperiod plant - it means she’s mature and ready to begin flower when you are ready to flip. This is definitely not just new growth, you can see the fibers that grow perpendicular to the main part of the pistil (it’s like hairs on the hair) that is the obvious sign for me that it’s female and/or preflowering.

Let's say stigmas are showing. these plants are femenized but I do not know if they are photo or auto. I specifically bought the seeds as auto but the source isn't as credible so I'm not sure. I will continue the growth with 18h light for the next week.can I determine after that

You will see stigmas on photoperiod females as a sign of sexual maturity before going to 12/12. I usually see them week 5-8 of veg indoors. If you flip to 12/12 before a female photoperiod is fully matured in veg - then it will start showing them as it rushes to begin flowering. I’d probably say this is a autoflower tho if it’s showing stigmas in week 4. If you give it another 7-10 days of 18/6 it should be apparent if it’s an auto or not. It will start stretching a bit and transition to focus on producing flower

End of week 5 now and start of week 6. Moved the girls over s the they could receive more light spectrum from the second grow. Running around 700 ppm for this week once. Last week ran 600ppm and they did well. Just switch to bud focused nutrients and got pH to 6.6. will be adding a co2 bag in the area and some sticky traps when they arrive. Slow training spreading the cannopy a lot and not letting it stretch up so much. But I feel happy with the spread now and feel like it's ready to go up as the lights a little higher as well.

This is the last day of week 6 and the plants are coming along fine. Did defoliation a little as well as light training but the girls are stretching well and growing strong. In complete control of the rooms temp and Rh now and I manipulate it to my liking. At the moment an average of 60 percent Rh at 25 degrees. Excited to see the new growth 🌴🌴🌴

I recently found a bunch of roots on the edge of the current pot I'm using. ( as in from head to toe a bunch of roots ready to go ). I took off the clear cover and put them in 7 gal fabric pots and filled it up. There's a lot of big holes in the pots and I'm hoping it works

My general intuition is yeah this will work. Because the holes are big and I don't feel there enough stopping it. Hopefully this can help the plant grow more size of it's wants to

Roughly about week 3 of flower. Overall 8 weeks of growth and I always considered my plants the same in age as I grew them together. Now that we are deeper into flower the difference in the flower is apparent. Is this an age difference or just fenotype/strain Photo (1-2 )/ (3-4 )

2 plants, of the same strain, from the same breeder, from the same packet are going to have some genetic variation. I am just finishing up 2 x Northern Light - both LST'd, one 35cm tall and harvest 2 weeks ago, one 55cm tall and not chopped yet - it is like comparing potatoes and tomoatoes. Treat them as individuals now you are aware - one might mature earlier than the other and be ready for harvest a couple weeks earlier than the other, but that is alright, it means you get 2 harvest days, some dry smoke earlier on in the overall cycle and may have even got your cure on the way before the other is chopped. Keep up the hard work!

End of week 8 and mid way through week 9. Already put nutrients in and already finished first flush. Will be flushing from now on, trying to get 6.5 everytime. Room is 24 degrees at 55 percent Rh sometime 45 or 65. Smell starting Ng coming from no where, good bud smell coming from them.

Flushed it already. Leaves aren't fading that much but the trichomes are developing to the right state very soon. So 🤩🤩🤩 my first harvest is coming soon. I would like to thank everyone so far for the massive help and encouragement the community gave through out my journey. Hopefully my next post is harvest 🤞 🌴🌴

Yayyy first harvest ever. So happy to finally be at this point in the grow 🌅 (Was the obvious faster one of the two and felt like to time to cut her. I don't know if. Messed up flushing, she didn't fade as much but also had minor Cal mag Def at end of flower. Did manage to flush before harvest but maybe not enough water to wash out. REALLY happy with the result, my first harvest down the hatch : )
