As I suspected by the end of the day the strawberry banana has also sprouted. Fastbuds has been a pleasure to grow so far.

This week starts off with the girls hitting a growth spurt causing my to put in extra effort.
I started by removing all the larf sites and downward growth. That was followed up by tying down the Bruce Banner to get an even canopy with a 1-2 inch difference all the way across. The Strawberry Banana is much more flexible allowing me to get away with using pins for now.

I’m a little bummed out because I thought these genetics would really stretch. Is it something I’m doing early on to keep them short like to much light early on or being to aggressive with my LST. Should I let the plant do its own thing

The problem is the recovery time from low-stress training. Even if the plant looks recovered, it is not until there is a full canopy and another defoliation is needed. Overall your plants should do fine. I would recommend feeding wood ash once to help with the growth spurt (few tablespoons in water per plant).
