OnionDuck18 They sprouted in the usual couple of days and so far are the tallest of the babies. They are also taking well to the soil and low night temperature

OnionDuck18 After week 2 theres not much to say shes been growing normally with some broad indica leaves (compared to my other babies) as well as light hues of purple showing up on the leaves probably from the cold night temps. She was transplanted into a 80L recycled dog food bag at the start of week 2 and i have begun giving her 50ml of kelp tea each week. The soil is a mix of homemade kitchen and garden scrap compost mixed with soil from my backyard and further amended with basalt rock dust, bonemeal, kelp meal, insect frass, bio-char and pot ash. The soil was then layered in the pots with different fresh organic plant matter in between and left to age for over a month before anything was planted in them

OnionDuck18 There isnt much to say about this week. Their growth is starting to kick off but their my slowest growers so far. But i will say the purple veining on its new growth looks beautiful

OnionDuck18 So far the blood sisters are healthy and have gone into pre flower. Though they are the slowest growing of my babies, so i decided to start just lst'ing them instead of topping them like the plan was.

OnionDuck18 Well ive missed a couple updates but these two have been moved under shade cloth due to the high heat and occasional hail and they were sprayed with 1ml/1l of spinosad due to some scale bugs moving into my grow. Now this strain has been pretty disappointing when it comes to size, they started flowering pretty early on and even with lst they did not want to grow much. Though i will say that their purple colour being so dark that its almost black is pretty cool. They have a pretty even bud structure but are still abit fluffy and they smell of some good sweet floral notes with hints of pepper and earth.
