So, she seems to like Remo. Still minuscule for a 15-day old, but there are roots going through the bottom of the fabric pot, so I’ll hope she’ll take off this week.
Still trying to figure out the perfect watering/runoff (first time using coco). Let’s wait and see of I can get it right.
So, after the wasted week 1, she’s finally growing steadily. Plenty of roots coming through the fabric pot on all sides. I’ve never grown autos before, but I suppose she’ll be pre-flowering next week.
Major growth this week. Knots now growing asymmetrically, so I’m expecting pre-flowers soon. Plant is very short, and no training at all has been done, not a single leaf removed, no tying her up, nothing.
So, she’s officially a monster, which is a problem because there are signs of light stress and I can’t raise the panel further up.
Second problem is that she has nothing but a single pre-flower growing on the upper knots, so I’m afraid she’s no autoflower at all.
I need to make a decision in the next few days: wait and see if she autoflowers, or flip it to 12/12 and risk ruining such a beautiful plant.
PS: This plant has received no training at all, not a single leaf has been removed, it is growing freely and untamed.
Lights too strong, day temperatures too hot. Can’t move panel up any further. I’m using hooks to “weigh down” the branches, but if she stretches too much, I guess it’ll be game over.
Aside from that, she’s doing great, main stem is thick as a pipe and the side stems have a lovely smell. Let’s ser what happens over the next few weeks!
She’s been relocated to an old bathroom that was sterilized with hydrogen peroxide and mite poison, so we’re back on track.
Next week I’ll defoliate and lollipop her.
She was a bit stunted by defoliation last week and showed first signs of overfeeding (very slight burns on leaf tips) even at 2 ml/l. I’ll cut down on food this week, and hope that she resumes flowering. Whatever happens, though, she’s looking like a ten-weeker to me.
Grow on!
