Each plant has nice looking colas and the side branches looking well formed too. Flowers are starting to feel sticky. Looks like maybe another 4-5wks or so until harvest. Weather still looking great upper 70s/low 80s daytime.
Hurricane Ida knocked the plants down, a few broken lvs and 2 bent branches repaired with duct tape. Nothing crazy. Temps remain steady 70's, low 80's daytime. Evenings 60's. Resin production is obvious. Buds fattening up. I water regularly with tap water + a dash of citric acid, a flower booster npk w/ micros, and an occasional Epsom and/or calcium nitrate supplement.
3 of the 5 plants are close to harvest. Calyxes are plumping up. My "ripest" plant has had browning of the oldest calyx clusters, which at first I thought could be rot but it's not - simply, all buds aren't ripening at the same time.
I have been tapering the feed except for my one Critical plant which is several weeks behind the other Wedding Gelatos. Interestingly, Critical is supposed to have a quicker flowering time but in my situation it is definitely not.
Weather continues to be seasonable warm, still seeing 80s in the day, mostly upper 60s at night. Looking forward to Croptober.
Had some areas of bud rot, not a surprise considering we've had some excessively warm and humid periods this past month. Haven't weighed yet but I estimate about 5 pounds before drying.
