1st Grow Ever (70% Coco, 30% Perlite)

Week 8 / Day 21 Flower - begins 19/10/21. I did another major defoliation 2 1/2 weeks into flower as the middle plant was growing into the others. From now on I should just be removing leaves if they are majorly shadowing a budsite. They are still getting 1/2 strength of base nutrients but full doses of C4 and Vitalise as per the chart, I have just adjusted my base nutrients (A&B) to fit with an EC of 1.4 -1.5. Being fed twice a day, will likely be increasing to 2L 2 x per day, on 1.5l 2 x per day currently. 2 hours after lights on; 2 hours before lights off. C4 appears to be doing its job as white hairs are popping everywhere with some purple pistils too and I can see where the buds will be in the future. Trying to maintain an EC of 1.4-1.5 then I will be slowly increasing by 0.2 each week going no higher than 2.0, then tapering down each week till flush, watching for any nute burn to ensure they’re getting as much food as they can for peak flowering. The middle M.O.P is round about 15cm from the light as it has stretched to a good height. I have read online that people running these lights have had colas almost through the bars with no effect so fingers crossed.. no bleaching observed as of yet and plants seem to be happy so far. 🤞
