Outdoor, 3 gallon fabric, Mephisto/gbd/Daz super soil and Roots Organic Original 🌱 ------------------- Got antsy and started a plant outdoor. Haven't had time to complete new closet setup. Won 5 Mexican Airlines seeds from Fast Buds during halloween. This one will only get about 4-5hrs of direct sunlight. Haven't gotten up early enough to know exactly what time the sun hits. Really have no idea how this will go, but it'll be fun to see! I also live where it gets +100°F in the summer 🌞🌵😎 May 27- in dirt, 2 day germ in DVD May 29- 2L water used May 30- Day 1 Day 1- 13% RH, 95°F day Day 2- 23mph winds, 90° day Day 5- 2L complete, 5% humidity, 104°F day/89°F night

Mexican Airlines Day 16: 😭 Pretty sure one of my dogs ate it!! Pretty upset, will let July (the hottest month) pass before trying outdoor again. Someone also mentioned that it may have been a nesting bird that took it. Thinking the soil is still good and will reuse, please inform me if otherwise- bottom half is super soil. During her short lived life she was fun to watch in the heat, did amazingly well! I only have 2 more of these seeds and will keep them safe indoor.

Looking good, although that's the lowest humidly I've ever seen! I battle the heat too, I would suggest a "sun cloth" It's a piece of fabric that blocks a certain percentage of light; I use a 55% shade, but they come in different percentages. Really drops the heat levels for me during heat waves.

@SunBeam, thank you for your input! was gonna have her ride it out until I see heat stress. Unfortunately she's gone missing! Pretty sure one of my dogs ate her at day 16 😭

Hey I'm here with you in Silv R. 100 is nice outside lol. Usually hits 105+ in summer. So here's what I learned: Anything but a smart pot seems to cause root rot. It's just too hot so a fabric bag with coco perlite mix is ideal to create a swamp cooling effect. Ive lost many to root rot. My friend lost his to rabbits which are the worst, then it's birds n bugs. If you protect the plant on a stilt in shade initially and let it establish you'll be better off.
