EDIBLE EXPERIENCE!

MrHightimes So this is my attempt at Gummies and Edibles. My friend recommend tincture so that's what i'm trying. I looked at the expensive setups, Magic Butter and Levo but my friend who has a Levo 2 swears by the low tech tincture. So i decarbed (hopefully) an ounce of BAM in my oven for 40 min at 240(F) degrees. It looked toasted so i'm hopeful I did it right and I put it in a big mason jar with a 750ml of EVERCLEAR. I shook vigorously for 5 min and threw it in a cabinet for 2 weeks. Will update.

MrHightimes 1 Week down 1 Week to go! Looking Very Green! I normally agitate it once a day. Getting excited to try some edibles!!!! Next week should be more fun!!!

MrHightimes We used a crazy made up recipe of 6tbsp jello 2tsp gelatin 2/3cup tincture 1/3 cup water definitly off the rails... they nasty but delightful . taste like booze, weed, and strawberry. I ate 4. Feel pretty good. Will experiment more!

MrHightimes Might add a bit more gelatin next time, might also reduce down the tincture next time, but i'm on a gas stove so its risky. They are pretty nasty, achol, strawberry and weed, but i take em like a jello shot and its no big deal. i'd also like to add a bit of citric acid to the batch next time, which will mask all that. I saved the bud, i hear u can run it thru a second batch, or i'm gonna see if my friend wants to cook with it. I will probably distill all my trim like this from now on. Its an easy good use for it! I feel like every two grows would make a great batch! VERY FUN EXPERIMENT!

MrHightimes OK 6 months later lets do something with that extra jar of extract!!! This time i decided to distill it down. boiled it down to about 2oz and made chocolates! Got a decent amount out of it. used about 10ml of extract for each 12oz bag of chocolate Definitely looking to explore edibles more!

MrHightimes I GOT A MAGICAL BUTTER KIT I used 1.5oz and made some butter! Turned it into rice crispy treats. SOOOOOO strong!!!! Def the best edibles so far!

MrHightimes turned out pretty good. Chocolate didn't seize this time since i used Coco Butter. The drizzle was tough b/c the hole kept getting clogged. I figure if u snack on 5 of em it should make u feel pretty nice. They are quite tasty! i love the pretzel with the chocolate

MrHightimes FASTFORWARD several months. just throwing extras in the magical butter pot 5 oz, 4 sticks.... should be 6k mg a stick lol. im to scared to eat it so i give it to friends and say good luck!

MrHightimes When you grow you get hobbies! it ignites a fire! A year ago i got a kickstarter and it finally came! An automated mushroom fruiting chamber. I thought it would be fun so i picked it up and My Journey w/ Gourmet Mushrooms... and soon other mushrooms!!!!! ______________________________________________ Didnt even make it the week before the pink oyster was done!!! Crazy quick and crazy delicious! We'll see what the lions mane does
