So this is my attempt at Gummies and Edibles.
My friend recommend tincture so that's what i'm trying.
I looked at the expensive setups, Magic Butter and Levo
but my friend who has a Levo 2 swears by the low tech tincture.
So i decarbed (hopefully) an ounce of BAM in my oven for 40 min at 240(F) degrees. It looked toasted so i'm hopeful I did it right
and I put it in a big mason jar with a 750ml of EVERCLEAR.
I shook vigorously for 5 min and threw it in a cabinet for 2 weeks.

We used a crazy made up recipe of
6tbsp jello
2tsp gelatin
2/3cup tincture
1/3 cup water
definitly off the rails...
they nasty but delightful . taste like booze, weed, and strawberry.
I ate 4. Feel pretty good.
Will experiment more!
4 gummies get me super faded. considered i was worried i would get no effect i'm super pleased!!!
Edible high is so different! creeps up on you, smacks you in the face and then settles down nicely! I'm looking forward to working through these. I know i will build a tolerance, but constantly smoking takes its toll on ya and these get you fucked up nicely!
Took two this morning and felt great after my coffee... cleaned the kitchen and played with the dog!
4 got me so high i had a bit of paranoia (normally that's only when i take a big dab!)
Might add a bit more gelatin next time, might also reduce down the tincture next time, but i'm on a gas stove so its risky.
They are pretty nasty, achol, strawberry and weed, but i take em like a jello shot and its no big deal. i'd also like to add a bit of citric acid to the batch next time, which will mask all that.
I saved the bud, i hear u can run it thru a second batch, or i'm gonna see if my friend wants to cook with it. I will probably distill all my trim like this from now on. Its an easy good use for it! I feel like every two grows would make a great batch!

OK 6 months later lets do something with that extra jar of extract!!!
This time i decided to distill it down. boiled it down to about 2oz and made chocolates!
Got a decent amount out of it. used about 10ml of extract for each 12oz bag of chocolate
Definitely looking to explore edibles more!
turned out pretty good. Chocolate didn't seize this time since i used Coco Butter.
The drizzle was tough b/c the hole kept getting clogged.
I figure if u snack on 5 of em it should make u feel pretty nice.
They are quite tasty! i love the pretzel with the chocolate
FASTFORWARD several months. just throwing extras in the magical butter pot
