Looks better compared to the last 2 weeks after I fixed the pH, but now the plant is yellowing. Any ideas? The pH from the runoff says 6.2, and the 3in1 soil pH tester shows 7. Light is as higher as posible, about 40cms away from the top of the plants, humidity is beeing controlled and temperature has been lower. Last feeding was 5l of RODI water and Byron Bay Gold 2ml/l, pH was 7.2, looking forward to keep increasing the soil that was too acid. Calmag deficiency alike symptoms stopped, but now many leaves are turning yellow.
My autoflowers are 6 weeks old and showing flowering signs.
Can I increase the number of light hours from 17hrs to 20/22/24hrs?
Does it cause light stress and can trigger vegetation or make it hermaphrodite?
Auto flowers don't care, you can change the light cycle every day. Randomly expose them to light to check on them or show a buddy. It is recommended to give them at least 4h of uninterrupted darkness. Lights out is recovery time and helps a plant grow big fat juicy buds.
Happy Growing.
Could you spot the deficiency?
Calmag? Light burn from droplets of water?
6weeksThis auto Critical FastBuds has been growing slow and now is showing stagnation signs, and her sister is now flowering and looks much better, but lower leaves looks the same on both.
looks like heat/light stress. leaves being bleached. serrated edges curling up. Hard to see but new growth is most likely twisted leaves sagging down. raise your light by 2" and you should see improvement. the leaves sagging could also be from lack of water.
Lower leaves turning yellow and showing different spots of different colours. Top leaves are light green.
Watering with RODI water and 1ml/lt Byron Bay Gold
Please help me to find the problem and solutions
Light burn?
Cal/mag/Cooper/iron deficiency?
Mold?
Low pH?
All together?
First pic looks like light/heat stress with minor nuturent burn, but the burn looks like it was from the week prior. keep an eye on new growth tips if they keep burning then you are feeding to much. Humidity is a little high so she might not be transpiring correctly. Second pic looks like a lack of cal mag. check your
ph and make sure its within range. if it looks correct the I would say all some cal-mag nect feeding.
@TerrazasBrew, I also just saw on your diaries that you have already flushed once. What was your EC and NPK ratio of the solution you used to flush your medium?
@TerrazasBrew, Just hit me up if you have any other questions. I used to grow with bottle nutrients for quite some time before switching to dry amendments.
Yes @Hydro_Hiebs, THANKS. I think you help me to discover another mistake. I jumped from veg to floral nutrients on week 4. It was probably too early. First timer rush, the pH from the runoff by then was too low (5) and there was little signs of flowering. I used RODI water for flushing and Rhizotonic to increase the pH. I will follow instructions. I'm still confused with the EC readings and conversions, but the ppm from the flush water was 70 and the pH 7/8. I flushed until the runoff shows 6.2 and 200ppm. THANKS A LOT
