More light is best. You need lots of light for big hard nugs. I throw 2000 watts in a 5x8 grow space. My flowers are huge, hard and ready, pretty quick. If you can't afford over a grand per light I would stay with HID lighting. Unless you get a 2000 dollar led the HID lighting will outperform cheap led every time. Cheap led, gives you light airy flowers. Cheers
