Ananacio Hey, this week I moved the girls to their final 4-gallon fabric pots.
It took me a while to transfer them since the roots had already overflowed the little cup they were in and were sticking out several centimeters from the bottom.
You could immediately see the benefit of the bigger pot with a noticeable growth of new leaves.
When I transplanted them, I watered them with Deeper Underground and Top Veg.
See you next week!
Ananacio Hello! They're almost ready to move to flowering. I'll probably do it in the next few days. They almost fill the entire net; maybe I let them grow too much, I don't know because it's the first SCROG in this small tent.
See you next week!
Cheers

Ananacio A few days ago I switched them to flowering, I still haven't noticed any changes. In the next watering, I'm going to give them a seaweed tea and maybe I'll still give them a bit of growth nutrients. See you next week!

Ananacio Well, it's been 10 days since the photoperiod changed to 12/12 and the first flowers are starting to show. I wasn't very happy with how I covered the entire net, but I'll improve for next time. I gave them a nori seaweed tea when I switched to flowering and also did a couple of waterings with molasses and yeast. I'm using very little Top Bloom because it won't last for the whole harvest, and I added guano to the soil. Cheers!

Ananacio Hi! The first flowers are starting to form. The process is a bit slow, you can tell I didn't use a flowering stimulant. I wanted to test to see if it was really necessary to use a stimulant and the answer is YES.
I started watering with Top Candy and I alternate it with Top Bloom.
Everything is a bit slow, but you can't evaluate until the end.
Cheers!
Ananacio Hello!
I posted the watering log I made in November.
The truth is that things aren't going very well.
1_I let them go past the vegetative stage and couldn't manage the scrog. There's a tangle of leaves and poorly formed buds that are consuming nutrients and won't produce anything.
2_I didn't use a flowering stimulant, and it's really noticeable. From now on, I won't plant again without using a good one.
3_I was careless with the regularity of watering and fertilizers. I should have kept watering every 2 or 3 days, but life catches up with me and the girls aren't getting the attention they need.
Moral: living and learning. I'll do better next time.
Cheers!
Ananacio The little plants keep getting fatter. The buds are getting heavy and the branches are falling. Soon I'll start giving them only water.

Ananacio Hello! I just did the last watering with fertilizers. From now on, just water. You can really notice how the smell of the plants changes. They're almost ready. Cheers!

Ananacio Hey, I'm already watering only with water.
I read on several websites that in the last days if you put ice, the plant generates more resin. I don't know if it's true, but I can't resist trying it out.
If anyone has an opinion, I'd love to hear it.
Cheers!

Ananacio Hello!
We've reached the end of the journey.
This is the last week I'll be posting photos of the plants because now it's harvest time.
For the last 10 days, I've only watered them with water and added ice. I don't know if the ice thing works or not. But it didn't harm them.
Right now in Uruguay, we're in the middle of summer with 35 degrees Celsius, but with good air circulation and CREE LED lights, it's not too noticeable.
The next post will be of the cut and dried buds; we'll see what's left.
Cheers!
Hello!!
It's been about 15 days since I put the girls in their first pot, you can tell they're a little burnt because the LED is too strong and was too close.
They're definitely in need of a transplant, probably to their final pot.
They haven't grown as fast as I expected. I used to grow with a 315 CMH and they went much faster, it's also true that with the CREE CBX3590 LEDs the internodal distance is much smaller.
Good vibes!
Hello!
Today marks 15 days since I started germinating the seeds.
They are quite behind, not growing as I expected. On one hand, they look kind of wrinkled, I think due to too much light. However, they aren't growing well. I don't know what's happening to them. I'm adjusting the dimmer, playing with the light intensity because at maximum it seems to be too much.
The LED light has 5 CREE CXB3590, 4 of 3000 K and the one in the middle is 3500 K.
I used to have a CMH light and they grew much faster. It's supposed that the CREE are better, but they aren't working for me.
I watered once with the root stimulator from Top Crop.
See you next week!
Good smokes!
Hello!
Today I started my grow by germinating some chokolope.
I'm showing you my DIY LED, I haven't tested it yet, I'm using it for the first time in this grow.
The tent is also new.
Cheers!
