thereshegrowz *Major stem split (started on day 6 of week 2, but didn’t notice until day 7 of week 2). *Completed a good chunk of defoliation: -At the start of week 2, I first removed any dead or dying leaves as well as leaves with any discoloration. - On day 5 & 6 I removed some large fan leaves that shaded bud sites and a couple small twigs with popcorn buds that were shaded deep under the canopy.

thereshegrowz Noticing signs of too much nitrogen. Flushed with 3 gallons of water on Day 16, and another 2 gallons on Day 17. Plant is looking great and thriving despite having a big split that doesn’t look to be coming back together. I’m thinking the plant may be re-routing it’s stem. It’s getting nutrients somehow!

What is the rule of thumb on flushing ? I flushed 3 gallons of water on Day 17 and 18. Today, (day 19), I flushed w/ 5 gallons since the symptoms of nitrogen toxicity seemed only to be getting worse. Hoping that at least stops the progression of leaf clawing...

When I did it recently, I just put 5 gallons through at the same time then let it dry out. Why? When I tested runoff originally I was up around 2500ppm (3EC), by the end of 5g the soil was down to 350ppm (.700EC). Took about 4 or 5 days for the plants to show improvement.
