Hey there, I just started growing and I was just wondering if anybody could give me some pointers along the way. I put the four seeds in water on Monday 5/21 and into paper towels the following day with the Mother of all Buds being planted on Wednesday in 5 gallon fabric pots. The first Pineapple Express sprout was planted Friday 5/25. Due to the size of the pots I was told to only feed a small amount when the soil is dry to avoid over watering the plant. Second Pineapple Express has yet to sprout.
Well I think my A/C is broken but hopefully I’m able to keep the temperature steady. I began the nutrients on Wednesday (6/6) and using the GH schedule I’ll ramp them up this coming Wednesday. I’m not really sure how much I should be watering them as it’s my first grow, so I just water around the root every now night being careful not disrupt the soil by over watering. I’m using a gallon bottle and have gone through maybe half of it feeding only water every third night.
Definitely starting to see the MoaB’s rapidly growing but the PE seems to be taking its sweet ol time. Switching to 12/12 Saturday 6/23 out of time necessity.
During the transition week I had some issues with watering which led me to the discovery of the proper method: soak the soil until runoff then wait until dry 1 inch deep to water again. The fellas over at r/microgrowery have been quite helpful. Funnily enough, my shortest plant, PE, is starting to show the first signs of flowering before anyone else.
After some defoliating to allow budspots more light, I’ve been seeing the post-switch growth I’ve been hearing about. Funnily enough, the smallest plant is starting to show signs of flowering before either of my tall plants.
Definitely seeing the flowers grow more and more everyday! I’ll be gone from tomorrow until Monday with my roommates planning on meeding the girls, not quite sure what to expect growth wise for when I get back but I’m sure the buds will continue to surprise me with how fast they grown will continue to surprise me with how fast they grow. DEFINITELY getting excited!
Some of the white pistils are turning orange! As I work into the latest nutrient week, I’m noticing even the smallest buds are starting to fatten up making me feel as though im getting close. UNFORTUNATELY due to time restraints and college, i have to chop at about 8/20.
