I switched nutrient lines from General Hydroponics to Nectar for the gods. I've had success with GH, but I'm looking to get better flavor. I Started in a glass of water, and as soon as seed cracked I planted in soil. Next time I will not skip the paper towel that I normally use to sprout the seeds.
I'm new to growing in soil. I am having a slight issue adjusting the size of my batches of nutrients. I am also ne to the idea of foliar feeding every day. So my feed plan is feed-feed-tea, repeat. I will do the "herc flush" if needed, but the pan is feed feed tea. and foliar daily.
So this is weeks 3-6 of Veg. Nectar is a different kind of line so there is stuff to learn. I was worried it was going to be hard, it is not hard, It is INVOLVED. You need to pay attention and if you do that you can keep up with NFTG, and I'm sold just on what I'm seeing so far, I am using a light rail for the 1st time so di not get a scrog net set up, The Kush N Cookies is going so strong, 2nd biggest of what I'm growing right now, but the healthiest and looks like it is going to maybe be the biggest yielder, fingers crossed! garden of green seeds always look good compared to other seeds in the same grow. just for me at least. So this veg is my first grow away from General Hydro in a very long time, It makes me feel like a new guy here and there, but it easier than I expected. With GH, less was more, with NFTG, sometimes, MORE is more. So I tried out the Bloom Khaos, It really does make little pigs out of your plants, i also was not used to foliar feeding as often as I am. But I kind of like the practice of it, sorry for delay, In flower now...
