This was a hard seed to start and keep alive. I had to prop up the seedling as it kept falling over. The plant is looking good and I’m going to start regular veg feeding now.
I’m growing in a grow tent with the light turned down to 75 watts. The temps are still a little high at 84 sometimes and the humidity has been low at 32.
I am watering everyday with the canna feed schedule using the light feeding recipe.
Sept. 27 is the first day of veg.
9/27 Still pretty warm but should be cooling off soon. The humidity is also still low but my humidifier is starting to stay constant.
The plant was very difficult to get started. She kept falling over and had to be propped up. She has finally straightened out and the internodes are staying compact. I plan on topping her on week 3 or four and taking that cutting and cloning it.
It’s been hot this week and has been very hard to control temps in the day time.
I have continued to use the light feeding schedule and the plants still look great.
I will be gradually starting to increase the wattage of my grow light to full power by the end of the week.
I have finally got the temps in check around 80 with the lights on and 72 with the lights off. Humidity is still low around 30%.
I transplanted and topped the plant. I also increased the output of my light to 250 watts. I want the plant to go through any stress all at once.
Transplanted her into an 15 liter autopot. I have not turned on the system yet and I will continue to hand water for at least another week. She had incredible growth and was a little root bound.
I topped her at the 5th node.
I turned my light up 250 watts and raised it up to 24 inches from the top of the plant.
I have been using the light feeding schedule but I may go to the regular schedule.
This has been a rough week.
The decision to transplant, topp, and increasing the light intensity all at once was not a great idea. I have experienced multiple problems that can be caused by any or all of the stresses. Their is some yellowing and brown spots on the leaves. Their is some leaf tip curling. The worst thing is premature flowering.
My temps and humidity have been hard to control as well. With temps inside the tent reaching 88. The humidity has also been problematic and has been below 30% for almost the entire week. I think for the next run I may move the tent to a different location that would allow me to control the environment better.
I have adjusted the light intensity down to 190 watts to help control temps and what may be some light damage to the plant.
Due to the plant starting to flower I will be changing the light schedule to 12 on 12 off. I will also be changing the feed formula to the Veg stage II and upping the feed from light to normal.
It has cooled off quite a bit in my grow space and the temperature has been much easier to control.
I switched to the 12 on 12 off schedule and the plant is stretching like crazy. I defoliated the bottom 3rd of the plant and the plant looks great
I’m using the normal feeding schedule and I will be transferring the plat to the auto pot system this week.
I’m high as shit.
The plants growth has been incredible. I am beginning to think I my have an auto flower plant rather than a photo.
I have increased the nute strength to 1.9 ec
Installed the planter into the autopot system and turned the system on. The planter absorbed about three liters of nutrient solution in 24hrs. At this rate of absorption I will need to refill the autopot system every three days. This works well for me.
Fast growing plant for sure.
After a week of using the autopot system I not quite sold on it yet. I am feeding just one plant and it seems like a lot of extra work for just one plant.
Temps have been a little higher than expected so I reduced the nutrient solution to EC 1.8. I am also getting some yellow leaf tips that may be a sign of fast approaching nutrient burn.
Things are good this week.
RH has been very high at 80% on several nights. I have turned off the autopot system to let the plant and the tent dry up a bit.
The plant has reached full height and the buds have grown about as long as they will get. Time to increase P/k by adding canna p/k booster.
The buds have gotten so big and heavy that I had to tie them to stakes.
I added a P/K booster to the nutrient solution last week and the buds look like they are not going to get any bigger.
The bud colas are huge but still very loose. Hopefully over the next three weeks the buds will get denser and harder.
The tent humidity has been very high. I have ordered a temperature/ humidity controller that should help keep the humidity in check.
Not much going on this week.
I have installed a new garden controller and temps and humidity are spot on
Whole the buds seem to getting fatter their seems to be some Fox tails grow on the buds.
The temps in my tent have been a little on the high side this week but I have been able to control the temps a little better.
My buds are still growing “Fox tails “ and they are not firming up they way they should. It also looks like more white hairs are still growing.
The good news is that the buds are looking a little more frosty with trichromes.
I am not sure why the plant is growing strangely. The plant has definitely gone through quit a bit of stress and the hlg 225 light may be too intense.
