Grow #2! Grow 1 just finished up so it's time to get the next group going. This run is also a multiple strain run, but I'm splitting them into their own diaries.
Tastebudz Orange Cookies. The name just sorta makes me hungry. I'm hoping they're as good as they sound. Having looked at a few grows here on the site, they probably are. Growing this strain also marks the start of side-quest of mine, which is to find a strain that smells like the best tasting flower I've ever had. It's been over twenty years since I had it, so the memory is a pretty good one. I am positive this little lady is not that older lady, but I don't care. Was looking for something to grow and this and another Tastebudz strain caught my eye. So I'm going to run 'em. I'm excited.
9/15 - Seed was soaked in a glass of water overnight.
9/16 - Before lunch, tapped the seed and she was at the bottom. planted seed directly into about a cup and a half sized mix of Black Gold starting soil and worm castings, that was set into a 3 gallon fabric pot filled with Coast of Maine's Stonington Mix.
9/18 - Sprouted
placed into the 3x3 tent with an LED light set to 50% and on 24/7.
week 1. always exciting, always also sorta...slow :) i wish we had x-ray glasses so we could see what's happening under the soil.
planted the seed into starter mix after soaking 24 hours in water. everything popped. she looks pretty happy.
she's taking the training and topping very well. i really like how this plant is growing so far!
added some 4-4-4 and 4-8-4 just as preflower started showing up. added some fish bone meal a day or two later.
