15:5% is a Good Ratio

One lost a leaf, a couple others I thought wouldn't make it. Barring losing too many, plan is to cull smallest, keep largest for mother. The last NL I had that had 4-5% CBD was really good to me. World of Seeds NLxBB Ryder. Hoping these do the same and the clones from the mother pad out my yields well. Got these seeds for approx $22 out the door for all ten during a sale. These probably don't have anywhere near as long to flip, due to my last two batches finishing together... so I'm going to try not bending them or topping them. Just HST + FIM, then probably LST the branches out into a bush. Not going to try to make them pancake flat unless that looks worth the effort.

Day 14 from germ. Hour after transplanting them into 1 gallons with mykos. Going to apply it again when they go into their final containers, size undetermined. Thinking eight 3gals. Going to lower lights to 24" and water in a ring around the puck to encourage root growth. Planning on fimming them.

Day 21. I fimmed them, or tried to. Think I goofed it up. The next morning I saw little leaf tips that hadnt been trimmed, thought I'd missed them, think i "double fimmed". Caused a bit of shock I think wouldn't have happened otherwise. Still good size for day 21. Frankly, I think I faied to break their apical domincance.... and they are still christmas trees. Either way is fine, but I think fimming would help me even out their sizes and maybe get more yield. HSTed their main trunk, will transplant in next couple of days to 3gal final homes and pick a mother for the mother tent.

Made it into three gallons without much shock. Used mykos during transplant. Defoliated during rooting instead of vegging, thought I had caught them during vigorous veg growth. Had room for the runt which is making me wish we'd had coir as it is no longer the smallest. Deserves a 3 gallon tbh. Kept a big one, that i had accidentally topped, to be a mother. Applied HST to the larger lower limbs. everything seems to be growing out flatter, most of the height differential is due to transplanting. The little one has a buried stalk.

Fim experiment going well. Hoping to use it with clones, thatll be different obviously but still. Couple had to be topped. Took the first nodes off of the bottom 4 branches for crowding prevention. will expect to have some bottom suckers to take off soon. Drastic difference in height still, though the small ones are recovering. Depends which took least to the transplant (mykos and all) and which probably got double fimmed hard while recovering. Oh well, I have a good mother of these now assuming I like it. The crop should be acceptible, if hit and mis.

Project "what if I dont kill my back spending like 30 hours a crop doing and adjusting LST ties" proceeds apace, with some of my "practice pot" (mostly THC, already have a mother). I plan on putting some of this knowledge into my clone sog. I have been doing some light hand bending of the branches and pruning nodes I htink will crowd, defoliating to encourage flatness with less time and effort. The fimmed ones are coming out well, and the topped ones should do fine. HST has been applied to the main cola at the base, and three nodes above it -- as well as every cola. Bonus shots of 7 month old Auto White Widow that like many of its sisters likes to reveg. Still havent scrapped it. Recently defoliated to go with the revegging. Really needs at least a 5 gallon and transplant, but besides the space I am shit out of coir and not buying more if I can help it. By the time I have more, hopefully it is already flowering. She's my mother's project, technically, but she's sick of it and I can't kill it.

Day 4 of 12/12, no pistils. Tapered down. Re-defoliated. Have been doing LST by hand with no ties a bit daily. Regret not taking the first nodes, theyre going to be suckers. Had kind of intended to tie them down, in which case I would have twisted everything into the light. Might take them as clones, just -- nowhere to put them except into a quart jar. Having structured wide flat -- but not plate flat -- colas and ensured a compact structure with HST, I am hoping for dense buds and weight on small plants. Have seen good results before. Not used to FIM.

Some plants have pistils, marking post Week One of flower. Suspect I didn't wash the coco enough despite doing it thoroughly. Switching to Canna brand is expensive enough to drive me to DWC instead. Got some apparent iron def even using calmag 4ml/gal every feed. Assuming the coir is leeching it. Might introduce during waters? Either way I got off on my watering schedule and skipped a feed. Either that or theyre trying to stretch and running into deficiencies, I've had that. Safe to say moving up to full normal strength Canna Coco schedule instead of light from here through end of main flowetring seems fine. Our water has low ppm. No burned tips so far to say the least. Had an accidental topping doing hand LST. Forgot about that part, they've gotten woody. Everything should be fine. Got rid of some weak fim nodes in the tops of the other plants to try to ensure large dense colas.
