Just like to thank those for the words of encouragement. This afternoon re-potted out of seedling raisers to their starting pots.
Just watered in well with cold, clean, fresh water.
Always meant to document a few of my previous grows but never got around to it so I included photos of a grow almost ready to harvest, just a few mungrel bred randoms
Been flat out this week so a little late on the update.
Plants are a little wilted in the photos as I left them an extra day to really make the root systems get established and seek out every little bit of moisture.
Removed the lower couple of nodes and topped to keep the haze shorter and put focus onto the desired branches for a healthy little plant before making its big growth spirts and pre-flower period.
Finally transplanted, topped, lightly defoliated the main fan leaves and removed bottom few sets of nodes.
Moved under Mars hydro ts1000,
Pre flowers started, the two I believe to be females entered 7gallon fabric pots, the 1 i believe to be male a 5gallon.
Providing sexing is correct I couldn't be happier, from everything I've read this is a strain I plan to grow for years to come so a good supply of pure seeds is just what I wanted .
Don't mind the burns on one of the girls, she came in contact with a few diodes, not ideal but not worried she'll be right.
Really should see some growth now
🤞😎✌️
So their starting to establish their roots and looking at the difference in condition between the little male and the two larger females it really is a shame I couldn't have transplanted them two weeks earlier but oh well they'll be fine, after all this is mainly for seed and a sample but eventually would like to grow a large plant or two.
Just switched to 12/12.
Not much to report.
Has come back nicely after the heavy defoliation, turned the light down to 75% since I can't move the light any higher.
Overall nothing much to report, coming along nicely.
Just started pollinating so I should get plenty of pure healthy seeds ✌️
Finished collecting pollen, harvested male, repositioned the two females and defoliated.
Now that seeds are all forming nicely just a sprint to the finish now
Seeds are starting to really plump up a bit, trichromes are starting to form, few deficiencies appearing so I bumped this feed up from 10 to 15ml per litre of ozimagic monstabud and also added 4ml per litre of neutrog gogo juice to help the girls take in the nutrients faster, next feed should be back to normal but will monitor and make a judgement call then. Other than that cruzing along alright ✌️can't wait to grow this strain as an actual crop.
Been away for a week and a half so the plants could look better.
I did have a friend look after my plants, both types, certainly goes to show some people aren't gardeners but everything is still alive so I'm thankful for that, all you can hope for I think.😎
Still feeding the nutrients into the girls, really want those seeds to finish up and get away from a seed crop and dive back into a herb crop.✌️
Starting to reach the end of the road, a little die off and the first of pistel hair ambering.
Once all are amber they'll get the chop, maybe try reveg.
One more week to go I'd say.
Let them dry a little to draw as much out of the medium as possible, removed the loose top layer as I over filled the pots to start with and watered with just clean fresh water.
Removed dying growth and any medium level growth that won't account to anything due to lack of light and decided to use them as clones, flowering plants aren't exactly ideal to clone but only one has to survived for it to be worth it.
Next week I will harvest it three nodes up and attempt to reveg.
It would be nice to actually harvest a few buds off them.
3 nodes up I gave the girls the chop and hung them up to dry so I could collect the seeds.
The below nodes I trained down, gave 1L of Veg nutes and later on 1L of fresh water.
Adjusted the lighting back to 18/6 and turned intensity back up to 100%. Plants are reading about 900 on the light meter so right where I like them and hopefully they should re-veg for me.
Also cleaned the cupboard and disinfected everything.
Re-veg has started off fantastically, clear re-growth visible and looks alright.
Have been pretty heavy on the nutrients so tonight gave 1.5L of cold clean fresh water.
Trained plants some more and had a small infestation of what I believe are leaf miners so I made some neem oil spray and gave them a good covering.
A few of the clones I took are still showing signs of life and those who didn't were removed.
Re-veg going good, re-veg foliage is healthy and and true leaves are beginning to appear. Gave another spray of neem oil mix.
2.5L of nutrients late washed in with 1.5L of clean freshwater.
Also have a few clones from the cuttings taken before harvest, 4 definite winners. All should be good.
Found a praying mantis at work so I added the little fellow.
Trained the branches down some more.
Been giving larger waterings longer apart.
Moved the four clones in with the orange bud.
