I dropped 2 All American seed Co strawberry banana cheese photoperiod seeds and 1 freebie Badazz OG Cheese photoperiod seed from Seedsman into a mix of peroxide and water for a 24 hour soak then I will put them into rapid rooters until I see 👀 roots that's when I'm dropping them straight into 5 gallons of living soil charged with Earth Dust Base dry all organic mix of nutrients.
I'm really surprised that all American seed isn't listed on here I've grown a few of their strains
So here we grow again and I thank everyone for coming by please click on the like button 👇before you go
Till next week
Cyrus
I wanted to update early just to keep all the diaries on the same day. Two of the babies have popped their heads up just waiting on the third I'm sure it will be later today or morning and they're all going to go into 5 gallon pots probably Monday. How do you like the ghetto humidifier, towel in a bucket of water 💧🤔🤣 works
I'm out, see you later
Cyrus
UPDATE... I checked on the holdout this morning 10/17 and cut the rooter open the seed looks cracked open but no roots yet so to avoid a big age difference I dropped another Strawberry banana cheese in a water peroxide bath. The other two have roots growing out the bottom of the rooter so they’ll go into the pots today
Looks like the replacement 🍓 🍌 🧀 is going to make it 😃 I'm trying to learn the es300 so I'm getting a little more stretch then I like that is why I like to use solo cups but just switching to the rapid rooters I thought I would be okay going straight into the pots. They'll be fine though I have room to add a little soil if needed. Now I wait for a few nodes to grow before I start training them.
I'll be back in a week to do another update... please like this 👇
See you later
Cyrus
I got some pretty good growth this week and #1 sbc is starting to grow. I am trying to get used to the es300 this light has lenses and is way more powerful than I expected I have it set low but have lifted it up a couple times because the girls seemed to get a little stressed and I like a little more node spacing than most other growers, I'll be doing manifolds on these anyway so it doesn't really matter if the nodes are close because I'm going to remove most of them.
I wish everyone a happy Halloween and thanks for coming by please click the like button 👇
Happy growing to all
Cyrus
We can definitely see the difference in the age of #1 sbc the other two were at their 6th node so I started the manifolds on them topping them down to their third node keeping only that node for the manifold and tied them down with my 6" tent stakes. I can only hope the other sbc will be ready to start training this week so it's not to far behind the others... seems there's always one in every grow that causes me stress 😆
I'll be back soon
Cyrus
Well I found out why they named this plant badazz, I have snapped the branches on this plant three times already one side bad enough I didn't think it would survive 😅 the sbc are doing good the second one was topped and started training the other is on week two of training it's pretty obvious which is which, but both look good as for badazz I'll have to let it grow a little and wing it on the training.
Cyrus
Hi, I have managed to rebreak and break again the Badazz again a few days ago so I have no choice but to just let it grow and top it and possibly supercrop it to keep it the same height as the others, she is just brittle I've never had one do it this bad but it's not the first I had to change the plan on.
The 🍓 🍌 🧀 other than being a week apart in age are doing good. I topped #1 today for the second time and have been just adjusting my ties to keep them going as planned for my manifolds.
Cyrus
Hi again 😁 the badazz has healed up enough I was able to tie down some of the branches and top a couple of them trying to keep her as low as I can so the others can catch up once they start to stretch out. They need some more time to veg before switching over to flower, the badazz is obviously a fast strain it's way ahead of the other two.
See you soon
Cyrus
Hello, I have been trying to keep the badazz down as much as I can by topping it multiple times so the others have a chance of catching up with it it's going to have a hundred tops 😆 I top dressed them which I do about a week before I switch to flower meaning I'll get these into flower sometime in the next couple weeks. I'll probably allow the middle plant to grow up now to keep it's footprint smaller this should allow it to catch up with the other one but I don't think they're going to catch the badazz but won't know until the stretch
See you soon
Cyrus
Back for another update, I have moved a couple plants around I switched one of the washing machines over here and put the badazz og cheese over into the 4x4 because the canopies matched better and the washing machine could use some more veg time. I top dressed these last week with their 1st dose of Earth Dust Boost (flower food) so they are all ready for the light schedule switch but I'm going to let them veg for a little longer now I'm not worried about height on them without badazz in here. I also cranked up the es300 a little more getting them used to a little more light
Until we meet again
Cyrus
Hello again everyboody, I decided on 12/18 to switch the lights over to 12/12 to get them headed towards flower. I'm trying this round without the normal heavy defoliation just because I haven't done it since switch to a living soil. I'm going with the theory of more food more flower, we'll see how they come out if I'm able to hold the humidity down with all the leaves in there. I'm just starting to see some pubic hairs so should have some little hedgehogs (baby flowers) next week
Thanks for coming by and happy holidays everyone 🎅 🤶
Cyrus 🌲 👀
Edit = sorry it was 12/16 I switched the light schedule.... 😬 oops
Well we made it through Christmas now it's almost 2022 wow 🤪🍻
I moved the Badazz out into another tent under a different light and to make it easier for me I started a separate diary for it.
These All American seed Strawberry Banana Cheese have gotten super bushy with a ton of little budsites with what I call HEDGEHOGS (flowers) so I'm starting to count the flower weeks now and should be seeing bud next week 👍 😀 I did some light defoliation just to keep some airflow throughout the plants, as I mentioned before I'm testing these doing as little defoliation as I can to give them access to more stored food. I wanted to see the difference because I'm normally big on defoliation I picked up the habit growing with salts n chemicals where the plants can be force fed. Like everyone else I'm trying to maximize my yields
It will be 2022 when I update again so I want to wish everyone a happy new year 🎉
Cyrus
Week two of flower, I got almost no stretch from these two but they are both very full of flowers. They're going to be ready for their last feeding around the end of the week and I'll do some more defoliation and get rid of anything that doesn't reach the canopy because I don't like trimming larf it's to time consuming and steals food from the buds I want to keep.
Happy new year everybody 🍻 to a better year in 22
Cyrus 🌲 👀
Hi there, I did a final feeding and trim on these two a couple days ago and they're going to just get water and light from here on. I guess they are not going to stretch anymore I'm wishing I would have vegged them for a little longer but I'm still pretty happy with how they are doing.
Here we are again another week down, still no stretch so I'm leaving all the smaller side buds that I would normally thin out so the 8 mains of the manifold would get fatt. I'm perfectly happy with a pile of smaller buds they seem to be growing nice and dense.
Short fatt and full of buds never upsets me 😁🌲
Another great All American Seed strain
Hi everyone, these 🍓 🍌 🧀 are starting to fatten up a bit, are getting a little frosty 😀 and are pretty 😍 I've been taking a few leaves here n there just the ones that are getting wet between them
Hi again, we're starting week 6 of flower and these are coming on nicely, I'm fighting with some gnat bastards in this tent I don't know if I skipped a treatment or what but I just gotta get em back under control, that's the only downside of organics imo bugs like it as much as the plants do. Starting to see some color changes in the pistils so won't be long and I can back off on the es300 light in here. I'm noticing the buds seem to be ahead of schedule under this light, thegreensunshineco.com claim the Electric sky would shorten the grow cycle and seems to be the case here
Hello 👋 these ladies are getting close especially the one with all the little buds but I'll trim them up and see if I can't get a little more from them 😉 the other one might have a couple more weeks to go anyway. I've lowered the light intensity on them and will get them trimmed
Hi there, I did some cleaning up in here today and did some scope work to see the trichomes the 🍓 🍌 🧀 on the right is showing some ambers but I'm going to let it go a little longer to hope the lower buds to gain some fatt the other one has a couple more weeks
All American seed did a good job on this strain it was easy to grow and had great structure to be fair I will have to grow this on again because I switched them over to flower to soon they didn't stretch out and show what could have been. Even with my mistake it grew with a ton of buds and ended with pretty color
Hello, there's a lot more space in here now with one chop complete. I'm just waiting for Amber to come so I can chop this one she's close but not quite ready 🧐❄️
This was a good grow and a great plant for a manifold I trained it with 8 tops and if I didn't switch it to flower so soon I would have probably doubled the harvest if it would have stretched a little more so I will have to give this strain another shot
