Put the bean in a jiffy on the 2 Oct. Jiffy was inoculated and had Biodyne 401 included.
The bean sprouted 6 days later on 8 Oct. She remained in the humidity dome until 12 Oct, when the roots began appearing on the side of the jiffy.
I prepared a small airpot, usually used for DWT and placed her in a bed of buffed coco, mycotoot and rhizo porridge.
Watered with ph6.5 water and kept in a tent at 21 degrees celcius and 60% RH during the night and in the conservatory in the day.
It's been three weeks since the germination check in and she has matured into an early veg diva. Topped her at node 3 and she has divided well.
Moved her from the germination dwc airpot to a 1litre temp home so her root network could mature and now to her veg 5l batu pot.
There was concerns in the previous germination check in of stretch, but this has been fixed with the use of a supplement blue cob in the veg tent and securing her stem deep in the temp pot.
All good for now.
Another 3 weeks has past and this CHG9 continues to bless me. Her two main lines after the top got long enough for me to add 90' clips to lst her out. This has created a nice symmetrical bush.
Still giving her sun in the main room during the day, sleep from 6pm to 12, then lights one.
Going to have to train this lady quite a bit cause the flower room is only open again in Feb 2022.
Not stressed though, because I have a feeling this lil lady will be around for a while.
Decided to flip the lady on 20 Dec, so this is one week in. She has built up nicely. Completed the veg to flower IPM management and just easing into week 2.
Day 32 since flip and three weeks since the last checkin. The CHG has moved to the flower room for the last 30 days. Overall she is growing well. Small and squat with well defined bud sites for 30 days in.
Another week down and thos CHG9 is filling up well. Started the molasses feeding and upped the PK in feed. Been very hot lately so feeds have increased. Day 40 and she is on her way to falling over with buds
Day 50... one week to go folks. Gonna harvest her on full moon, lucky coincidence. She has been a joy to grow. Her sister is very similar just a bit stretchier.
All and all, this CHG9 from Canna health genetics has been everything it was sold as. Very happy with the consistency and result.
I have fed her only water for a week and from Monday I'll do a 3day blackout upon which time we will bless the grow and harvest.
Day 58. Chop day. I have blessed her for a great grow. No pests, no PM, no nutrient issues or soil issues. A very pleasant grow.
Enjoyed the Bato 5L pots and Jay's Premium nutrient line.
Overall a great grow. I popped two chg9s and both germinated. One I trained, this entry, and the other I let go. Both had the same result. The let go maybe produced about 10g more but she was the stronger sister. All in all, I recommend this for first time growers if you can get your hands on beans and experience growers if you like a purple, orange green plant
