Started a fox farm feeding schedule, rough first week after finding out my well water jumped in ph to 8.2 and created a calcium lockout. Added an auto Northern lights from a friend.
Each plant showing different deficiencies and excesses. Figured it was a salts build up and flushed with 2ml hydrogaurd per gal. Already looking better
Definetly a night time strain for me but most are. A friend that smokes much more than me says it feels more sativa than indica and would not hesitate for daytime or early morning use. Very hearty strain with a good yield at a fast pace. Both plants finished a week apart with the first coming in at 428g wet, and the second 426g. With the second coming in a bit frostier.
Strange how much genetics can very from plant to plant. The two king tut look nothing alike, while the two jack herer are extremely similar. Harvest for the two king tuts and the northern lights is just around the corner. Stay tuned
Much fattening, dropped nitrogen from all but jack. Say what you will but I'm not a very firm believer in a complete 2 week flush. To each their own. Cheers til next week.
Buds are starting to get heavy, jack still has some weeks to go but everything else is being close to ripe, just waiting for a bit of amber to show its presence. Harvested 5 colas from shorter king tut that were ready. Stay tuned
Started to do some funny stuff at the end. Started to develop what I assume to be pollen sacks in a few select branches. She was topped early in life, since she was added to the grow after the diary was Started but was sprouted much earlier, the week reflection is not correct. She would 17 weeks today
So these past 2 weeks have been busy after harvesting the rest. A nitrogen defiance in early flower took a heavy toll on short Jack but she's still chugging along. Even with the fans that are left and as yellow as they are. They aren't falling off by any means. While smell is string short jack is leaning more towards that dreaded cat piss smell while tall Jack, (which was topped by accident) has that very tasty lemon pepper smell.short jack got a little tied up while she continues to fill out. Got a little heavy even though flower size is still mediocre. I'd say we are still a few weeks out at this point but short jack make have to come down earlier if dying sugar leaf regressed into bud. I hate trimming that. Trichomes are all still clear so I'll give them the time and potash the girls desire, smoke reports on ak and northern coming up soon. Til then hombres
