05.12. Something is happening. The plant gained in height, and it seems to be flowering. Conditions were kept the same. Some 74 days have elapsed. If the life cycle is 120 days, then we may see flowers soon. Dark period has been every day between 6 hrs and 8 hrs. IMPORTANT: Observed, what i believe to be a nitrogen deficiency. Added some nutrients, it seemed to have remedied the situation. Keep you posted!

Poppies usually bloom in spring when the days are still getting longer so they do not flower based on the length of daylight. In some respects they are like auto's where you just plant them and they are on their own schedule. I would cut off one of your plants and only have one plant per pot. Poppies can get rather large when given enough space but they are easily stunted by overcrowding. And, bigger plants do produce more, bigger flowers. I would not attempt transplanting. They are very easily killed by transplanting even at a much younger age so I would just cut one plant off so you don't disturb the roots of the other.
