@BigboyKolo, nah was trying to train using cut up wire clothing hangers that I bent into stakes, had already staked the plant once successfully, but the second time I did it too late and tried staking down a wayyyy to thick stem.

@CHILLING_RACOONS, I really don’t believe so, it’s hard to tell from the photo but it’s a clean snap straight through the stem

Sorry for your loss. I've had that happen to me in two of my three grows, but it didn't go all the way through the stem. Though it delayed main stem growth a bit, it did eventually heal both times. Looks like that was your main central branch? Ain't that a bitch? The one that looks most sturdy is actually the one most likely to break on you. LOL! My remedy for preventing this from happen (the second time it happened, I simply forgot to use this technique) is to use two LST hooks successively. Say you want to grab the third node to pull down? Make sure you first also already have the second node tied down first and as well. Then when you want to pull down the fourth node, release the 2nd node LST, leap frog to the fourth node with that hook and tie it down, while the third node is still tied down... and so on... This way that surprisingly brittle main stem is more supported for each successive pull down... Hope that helped... 😀👍
