This week the clones finally started revegging. Glad I had the space to save them from the elements, otherwise they never would have been able to continue growing.
Two of these will go into the tent once they're recovered and one will be kept through the winter to run outdoors, I think!
Decent week, the girls wouldn't agree. They're not too thrilled with re-vegging and are quite droopy. I'm sure they'll pull through though, their mom was a tough bitch.
Pretty standard, the plants sat in front of the window and lived. Didn't grow a whole lot, still revegging. I figure they get their shit together in around two weeks from now?
Another decent week in front of the window. Seems like they're starting to kick back into veg mode. Should be another week or two max. We'll see if I run them in the tent right away or run some GOG Candyland first.
Half decent week, not much going on but some new shoots are just barely starting, it seems. Noticed thrips on one of them, removed affected greenery (unfortunately most of the plant) and sprayed er with some pyrethrin insectiside soap, along with her neighbouring plants. Will be watering today and trimming off most of the flowered crap.
12/23- Girls are a bit barebones now, stripped back to only viable nodes. Hoping they'll make it through, all signs point to a hopeful place though.
12/30 - unfortunately plant 3 was lost completely to thrips. Remaining plants and soil treated pre-emptively.
Decent week. Seems that the girls are starting to recover from the aggressive strip of flowered crap. More growth is expected in the coming days and weeks. Unfortunate that there's only two of them now, but I should be able to run them outside or something along those lines the next season. (If they don't get too big for the tent)
Quite slow going, but that seems to be how revegging goes. All I can say is I'm happy I didn't jump on immediately running these girls in the tent for production bud as this is taking quite a bit longer than I originally anticipated it would.
1/17/2022- I'm seeing thrips start to creep up clone 2 (furthest from camera usually) - I'm implementing sprayed pesticides and have a fan running now to try and get rid of them. If all else fails I'll be trying to take some clones and peroxide dunking them prior to potting. (as well as throwing away any affected soil and vegetation, of course)
Plant 2 still seems to be getting fucked by thrips since our friendly neighborhood pesticide companies can't make a functioning fucking product; anyway, the girls are growing I guess.
1/24/2022 - Seems that clone #2 is going to succumb to thrips. Tomorrow I'll be taking the only viable node I can possibly clone from plant 2 and dunking it in peroxide solution. Then the plant will be composted.
1/25/2022 - Clone #2 is donezo, and any growth that would've been a viable clone was wrecked this morning unfortunately. Hopefully clone #1 is as thrip-free as it appears currently, and will continue to be. It doesn't seem like clones will be very viable from it at this point so the genetics of UKBS 2 ride on this clone alone.
She's revegging pretty nicely. Luckily no visible signs of thrips but I'll stay looking for em.
2/3- Does unfortunately have some signs of thrips. Currently affected parts are limited and I've gotten some insecticidal soap to attempt to fight them with.
I'm waging a war with thrips and frankly I can't tell whether I'm winning or losing. Regardless, signs of thrips remain and I continue to blast the leaf undersides with pesticide every so often. Temps are heating up outside, but who knows how long that'll last in my unpredictable area.
Seems I may have won the battle with the thrips but perhaps lost the war overall, the potassium salt based pesticide did a number on many of her leaves. I'm hoping she pulls through as she's continued to for 8 months now.
Not too bad of a week. It seems that the war with the trips has been won, but at some cost to healthy foliage. She does seem like she'll pull through but there has indeed been substantial damage.
UKBS 2 is doing alright. Only more time will tell how she'll recover from the damage. Can't help but feel I could've been more attentive. Hindsight is of course 20/20 in that regard. Next time.
Luckily the pretty lady seems to be perking back up after all the fuckery she's been through, glad to see it. Just in time for spring to begin and the weather to warm too.
The lone clone remaining is making a serious comeback from all the hell she's been through. She should definitely be ready to head outside into the "greenhouse" come warmer temps.
After quite the incredible recovery, UKBS 2 Clone here has managed to pull it together fully and start vegging nicely in the window. She'll be good to go as soon as the weather allows, and I'm sure she'll grow quite large. Depending on her size I may be looking to take some clones to run inside and/or hand off to some buddies.
(I do wonder if she'll have some kind of fucked up flower pattern though, we'll have to see.)
Solid week. The incredible recovery continues and the clone is in proper veg now, thank the lord. She's doing great in front of the window and continues to seem to be on track to go outside when the weather allows.
4/6- Lopped off some lower crap and things that were dead/dying, low light, obstructive etc.
Another week of solid growth. Blows my mind to think that this plant was technically started well over a year ago with UKBS 1. Hoping she grows nicely outside again and I can take some clones.
Solid week, she keeps growing steadily in front of the window. Again glad that she recovered properly and in time to get well back into veg before the weather gets nice.
She's just chillin in front of the window, I'm keeping an eye out in case there's a resurgence of thrips or something. Hoping she can go outside soon and clear up a bit of space.
This one was also still alive when I came back, good stuff. Unfortunately it still wont be able to go outside anytime soon as there's still possible snow in the forecast.
Solid week, still growing pretty well in front of the window; of course it decided to fucking snow so itll be a while yet before she can go outside. fucking frigid shithole.
Another solid week in the books. Seems like the weather is finally beginning to cooperate, she should be able to start hardening relatively soon considering the greenhouse's wind pro.
Yet another decent week of veg for this old girl. Sometime this coming week here she'll be transplanted into the big ol' fabric pot and start really hardening off to the outdoor conditions. Hoping to have her outside full time before she gets too big to handle inside.
Solid week. She's started to go in and out for hardening, hoping to have her fully outside by the end of the month here. Will be repotting into the big bitch ASAP.
Decent week. repotted her into the big pot, she'll be going outside fulltime soon after I patch up the greenhouse a bit. Hoping the coming weeks have some good sun for her to get nice and established in the 15gal.
Been slackin a bit with the photos, busy times. Hoping to get the documentation back up and running as it was previously. Girl should be outside full time soon (tm)
still unfortunately slacking when it comes to photos. Nonetheless the weather is much improved and it's just about time for her to go outside full time. some clones have been taken, I hope to run two for the next indoor and pass the remainder off.
-7/25 - GD won't let me add more weeks so I'll just update this week and start a flower diary once she pops into flower.
