Catching up on some back burner projects Blue Matter F2 being upgraded to
#1) dropped a few seeds into some RO water over night.
Following night into paper towel in zip lock bag.
Next day seeds cracked, put in jiffy pellets to finish germination under
humidity dome. Will post pics when popping through soil.
Searching for a special couple male and female's for open Pollination
(Keeping clone of each just incase I get a keeper). Male or female😉

Blue Matter (Dark Matter male x Blue Rhino 1947 f1)
Welcome to the Gamblers’ Table section of KOS. Here and there we sell untested varieties for a real cool deal, there’s really not a ton of risk here, but every once in awhile shit can go south.
Now here is a really trippy blend here amigos, and let me tell you why. When I brought up my BR1947 plants from seed, I got one of the small females, that is just resin soaked and much more potent than any other BR1947 phenotype, in my experience. This pheno of the BR1947 also has the strongest medical properties regarding her abilities to calm down nerve damage type spasms. But she doesn’t get very big, short and stocky with average yields and serious Blueberry flavors and smells.
The father is the Dark Matter, which is my Rusty Haze male x my Cherry Thunderfuck. This plant (Dark Matter) gets large and often imparts a Grape Crush type influence into fruity/berry flavored varieties it breeds with. So while this cross is essentially the same parental varieties as the KOS Dark Rhino, this one was made with a very special female and sure to deliver a unique connoisseur treat.
These will likely go 9 or 10 weeks, yields should be alright, smells and flavors should be off the hook, medical properties should be at full power, and she will fairly likely stay on the shorter more stacked side regarding morphology. So check out this special girl if you think she may be what the doctor ordered!

Seven of 11 so far. Up potted our #1 sprout to her home for the next 30 or so. Also up pot others as needed over the next week. Veg should be start soon.

6 days and 7 out of 11 sprouting. So I'll pot up the 7 sisters ( fingers crossed) and ad others if they sprout.

8 out of 11 germinated potted up 5 got 3 more to transplant. Should be ready to start veg soon got single fingered leaves but waiting on first set of 3 leaves to begin veg.
72.2 germ rate on improperly stored seed. Decent.

First true leaves are showing, transplanted 7 jiffy pellets into their first pots. Should be good for a couple weeks.
Interesting to see how all the single finger leaves are developing differently.

Transplantation complete #8 potted up into a small pot temporarily, Will start feeding next week Mirimichi 901C One ounce (7.8ml) to a gallon.
I am guessing (prediction) #2,#6 might be male.
(Both are vigorous girls) But time will tell.

All going pretty well, some leaves got sprayed to heavily with Neem oil and got burnt a little bit but they will be fine. Foliar fed (901C) spray leaves and saturated top of soil with sprayer. All in all a decent week I will readjust light distance to increase lights intensity sometime in the next week. Also need to number these girls so I won't confuse them. Update pictures mid week.

All going well should be able to sex them soon and separate to isolate the males.
Then it's time to pot up again, and amend for transition to flower.
The #1 plant seems to be a runt I'll have to into more closely could be hungry, or something? She is little pale compared to her siblings.

They are growing well,#1 will be eliminated she is a runt, and way to far behind her sisters in growth, so culling her tomorrow.
Ps. #1 sprang back to life!
No sign of sex yet but soon I hope, as I was hoping for a short veg. More pics of #2-#8 in a.m.
Pretty cool to see plants know when lights going to out, and leaves look lower (drooping) about an hour before light shuts off !.

Plants are about 31 days old and should start to show signs of sex.

So far only one male has been identified. Glad I just reviewed my video I didn't even notice how light green #3 is, guess I mix her nutes up separately and see if she just hungry? Or naturally lighter than others. All other plants are using coast of Maine mixed into soil
(her too) so I'll give her a little mirimichi 901C this week and see what happens.

Noticing that there is two distinct differences between these girls, color light green and dark green.#1,#3,#8 are light green and #2,#4,#5,#6,#7 Other than that there very much similar growth and node spacing, little differences but very happy with uniformity.Both light green and dark green maintained their magenta petiols, gonna make notes on stem rub notes next week and see how they will compare.

Potting up and amending with
5-2-4 to give a little kick before mid flower
#6 is first girl to show herself, also got two different males and only difference is that one is lighter green and other darker green
(also dark green one seems to drink more than lighter green) 💚. Other than that structure is very similar I wonder which is a better breeding male? I guess I might pollinate and LABEL TWO BRANCHES ON each female one for each male. and find out.🙏🏻

#3 showed today, reppoted and into flowering closet, along with#6,who showed earlier this week lights at 14-10 see how they respond to that schedule, which should help use up the 5-2-4 going into week 3 should help with her stretch. Which isn't really that much I believe maybe double her current height, which I will check at lights on.Week ,#3 if I think of it I'll give a good fungal dominant tea.

Finally time to flower, and all girls went into flower room at lights out.The males will be next week, don't want to put them in to early so I will carefully check every day and separate before they open their flowers. I'm guessing week 3-4
I Will select two branches on each female to selectively pollinate.

Blue Matter #5 (update #5 culled male) repotted with lemon og seed
Will continue in her own evolving diary. My hope is to eventually graft different cuts for a multiple variety mom plant, I can have 6 total plants
And would be nice to be able to maintain only one mom.

Stretch is starting, watering till
5-10% Runoff. I will be giving some molasses 2 tbls to 2 gallons water to feed the microbial life in my soil. This should help nutrient uptake from roots, feeding her flowers with microbial chelated nutrients.
Changing to 12-12 tomorrow at lights on. Which will continue through flowering week 8, week 9- harvest will go to 11-13 for the fantastic finish! Getting rid of the dark green male
he is not adjusting to drought (lack of water) as well as lighter green male. Lighter green can go twice as long without water with no sign at wilting

watered with fungal tea and some aloe mixed in for amino acids and other goodness. Well see how she progresses in 4 days
Also working on some banana peel tea to give a boost of potassium if I do next week it should be available for week 6-7.

Fuzzy Mellon (bag seed male)
I will pollinate one lucky branch on #6 as she is my favorite. But number 3(tall and lanky one) will get pollination of one branch as well.
I can't wait to see how they recombine with fuzzy melon smell mixed with burnt rubber and model glue and pine.
#2 no pollination (smaller one) #5 (bonsai) and #8 are males. So 3 female out of 8 seeds. Going to make some feminized seeds next time,so I'll have plenty of female's for a staggard harvest.

Got some pics of #6 in regular light did some defoliating and took some late clones from lower branches soaking up some water.

Week 6 flower all going well, watered with 2 TBLS of unsulphored molasses to 2 gallons of water 💦.
Will top dress with a little garden gypsum for sulfer. Molasses and water is all they get till harvest. Should show her colors soon!
Ps. Dropping it to 11-13 for next 3-4 weeks

Just enoying the smell, pollination was successful!
On #6 seeds forming nicely 🙏🏻
Also some weird stretching I'm top buds from accidentally leaving light's on a couple days. But should be good. looks like my efforts to pollinate one branch didn't do so well plenty of seeds to grow out now lower buds look clean of pollen no sign of pollination.
Should start adding weight in next two weeks.
73 days of flowers, dried 8 days.
I think I should've only gone 6-7 of drying days but I threw a fresh bud in dried over night and it seems to have restored moisture levels. Smells pleasant, no visible moisture buds sticky AF! Clumping up in jar. Smoke report and final pics and weight, if I get batteries for the scale.
