The week was going fine at the start. I think I may have stressed out my runt of this batch a little too much and she started growing nunners. At first it was just on or two that I picked out. On the last day of the week I noticed a full on pollen sack. At that point I made the call to chop everything down before it could take effect.
Both plants were at 10 weeks of flower and a couple days into the 11th week so they were within the harvest window anyway. Both have frosty trichomes, I was waiting for the amber to show on the buds but this isn't a loss.
I chopped them down, did a very simple wet trim (just fan leaves and some bigger crows feet), picked out any visible nanners and hung them in my dry room.
Looking back, some key mistakes I made with this grow:
1. I didn't defoliate during veg and tried to make up for it during flower - this one is my biggest mistake. Lesson learned.
2. I should have started LST earlier during veg. - I only did LST during the flower portion to have light penetrate the canopy because I didn't defoliate.
I'll write up a harvest report once my dry is done in 10-14 days.
