DaGrRe After four days, both have appeared above the ground, even though I planted them a bit too deep and checked daily... I guess I was a bit inattentive.

DaGrRe I'm satisfied with the growth of both. Unfortunately, they've already had to deal with a few problems. I noticed a thrips and fungus gnat infestation in my room and treated generously with neem oil this week. I added Neudorff root indicator to the watering water once, otherwise no fertilizer so far. The Fastberry's leaves are curling, and I'm not sure what exactly is causing that.

DaGrRe Beautiful week! I started using TNT nutrients and added root indicator again. At the beginning of the week, I put nematodes in the watering water to tackle the infestation. I hope that wasn't too much treatment for the little ones... The leaves of the Fastberry are twisting more and more. The Mexican Airlines isn't following the classic leaf growth; I'm curious what surprises this lady has in store for me.

DaGrRe The plants look very nice and big, that's why I decided to top and do LST. So far, I'm very satisfied with the Fastbuds genetics. They had to endure a few problems and still look good. I hope they stay strong! A pre-flower is noticeable on Fastberry by the end of the week.

DaGrRe This week was chaotic. I adjusted the branches every day because they grew differently than I had imagined. Especially the Fastberry, somehow even the stem is twisted. With the Mexican Airlines, I even broke a branch; unfortunately, I couldn't fix it, so it ended up being a second topping. A few days later, the same thing happened again! Light LST, looks good, checked a few hours later and discovered a broken branch! Luckily, I was able to save it! Both started to really bloom by the end of the week. That's why I adjusted the nutrients. With the Fastberry, purple calyxes and stigmas are visible. That's the reason I chose this strain, the color! I'm not satisfied with the growth this week; how could I be when things keep breaking, the plants can't recover. I've also noticed that they are developing very few leaves. It's either due to stress or genetics. Maybe it was another root week? I'm curious to see what the end result will be.

DaGrRe Finally growth! As soon as you take your hands off the plants, they start growing! The broken branch on Mexican Airlines has recovered well. I promised myself not to do any more LST with her. The risk of a break is too high for this plant. With the Fastberry, I removed a few pesky leaves and discovered thrips again! So I sprayed some neem oil again. The colors are just developing beautifully on the buds! It's a joy to look at them!

DaGrRe Wow, what a stretch this week! I have to admit, I didn't think those two would get so big. Mexican Airlines is 24 cm taller this week! She's also gotten really thirsty. Both still have little leaf growth, but I think that's fine as long as it doesn't affect the harvest. I'm looking forward to being surprised by these strains again! Fastberry has beautiful colors!

DaGrRe I am very satisfied with how the two ladies have developed this week. Mexican Airlines has grown huge and has gotten many branches and stamps. I also had to do some defoliation. I couldn't even imagine three weeks ago that I would ever have to cut anything from this plant! I'm curious to see if the buds will get nice and thick now! Fastberry, I love these colors! This is my first plant with such dark colors, it's beautiful! I'm also very satisfied with the development of the buds; they are getting thick quickly and stacking up. I'm excited to see how fast it finishes and what it will weigh! I also did a little defoliation here. Fastberry is smaller and less demanding at 40cm tall and 0.3l per week compared to the big Mexican Airlines. Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the smell, as I have a temporary loss of this sense. What a shame, I was so excited about the new strains.

DaGrRe Simple week... Just fertilizing and watching it grow beautifully! Both have come to a standstill in growth. Starting next week, there will be more space in the room, then the buds can really fatten up nicely. Mexican Airlines has grown super big and surprises me with many branches and pistils. The pistils are rather short and curled, some are already turning brown. I'm curious if they will also fatten up or if there will only be popcorn buds. Fastberry, oh I love this color! The pistils are also turning brown and the buds look heavy and firm. I'm curious how much more she can stack and when she will be done. She is definitely significantly faster than her roommate. So indeed FASTBerry. ;-) Fastberry is at 47cm significantly smaller and only needs half as many nutrients.

DaGrRe This week I'm a bit at a loss... First of all, what my plants are trying to tell me with their leaves. I'm not sure if it's "just" a nutrient burn or lockout or light burn... Or all of it together? Anyway, I flushed both of them the day before yesterday and lightly fertilized yesterday. With the Fastberry, I thought long about whether I should even fertilize again or if I should just give her water after the flush and harvest in 14 days? Normally, I harvest earlier when there are hardly any amber trichomes visible. However, I wanted to experience a really heavy relaxing couchlock effect with the Fastberry for the first time, so I decided to wait and fertilize. The Mexican Airlines is a bit slower and has just become really frosty, and the buds are getting thicker, so definitely fertilizing and fattening again! I would be very grateful for advice regarding harvest or deficiencies!

DaGrRe This week was strange. I stopped fertilizing both plants after they already look very ripe and, in my eyes, there’s no more growth happening. I’m still adding CalMag to the water since that’s an obvious deficiency for both. The leaves have still become uglier, so I just cut them all off; I couldn’t stand the misery anymore. 🤣 Unfortunately, the flowering growth has stopped for both. The Mexican Airlines unfortunately has only very small airy buds, especially the main buds are very thin and fluffy. Further down the branches, it has developed okay. I must have done something wrong for it to grow so strangely. The Fastberry has developed nice buds for its size. I’ve already flushed it twice and will probably harvest it soon. Both already have some amber-colored trichomes and are ready.

DaGrRe I've been constantly thinking about when the right harvest time is over the last few days. Somehow, I had the impression that the deficiencies were getting better and some flowering was starting again. So I wanted to wait another week. However, I then had a water damage in my room and had to act quickly. Here are the photos from a short week and then off to the harvest! The colors have become very interesting in both. The Fastberry is extremely dark wine red. And the Mexican Airlines is very frosty with spotted leaves.

Grundsätzlich eine sehr schöne Sorte mit Potential! Leider waren meine Bedingungen nicht optimal, sonst wäre bestimmt ein besseres Ernte Gewicht möglich. Details siehe unten.

DaGrRe The conditions during the grow were not optimal. At first, the lighting was too strong because it was a latecomer. Then I had problems with fungus gnats in my room, which I fought with neem oil and nematodes in an early stage of the plant, maybe that severely affected the first vegetative phase. I also had some issues with LST; somehow the branches twisted, and I had difficulty reaching the desired position. Then it was probably a bit too little light because the other plants in the room were just bigger. Towards the end, there was also a nutrient lockout or Mg-pH deficiency involved. Still, this plant brought me a lot of joy! The colors are beautiful, and despite all the circumstances, it mostly looked very healthy. The harvest took about an hour. I imagined the buds to be a bit denser and the weight a bit higher. Nevertheless, I’m excited for the dry result!

Happy Harvest Day!

DaGrRe My conditions weren't optimal during the grow. The plant was a latecomer and probably got too strong light at the beginning. Then I had a fungus gnat infestation in the room, and I fought it in an early vegetative phase with neem oil and nematodes. Topping was okay, but during the subsequent LST, I broke a branch twice. This strain is hard to train. There was also no growth during the training; I was worried I was going to destroy it. But then the stretch came, and it got huge! I couldn't raise the lamp any higher, so I think I burned the main buds, which is why they look so puny. The lower buds are pretty okay in thickness and firmness. Towards the end, I had a nutrient lockout or Mg-PH deficiency or both... The stems turned bright red, and the leaves looked ugly. The harvest took about two hours. The harvest was easy because there wasn't much to cut away. All the remaining leaves were sugar leaves completely covered in trichomes. Just a bit of trimming, and that's it. I was surprised by the wet weight because the buds look very small. However, there are many long stems, so I'm curious to see what comes out when it's dry.
