Seed1997 All in all, it's going well. Despite being the same strain, all three have a different appearance from each other, apart from the leaf type, which still looks different from plant to plant when seen in person. Despite the low temperatures, they seem to be growing at a really fast pace, except for a stop this week due to topping and fimming. I happen to find drops of water on the leaves that I can't explain given the low humidity.

Seed1997 I removed the large leaves on top of one of them since the lower branches are developing quickly and trying to reach the top without success. A bit of a gamble, but it should allow the lower branches to push upwards, which they are already doing. They still have these water droplets on the leaves, and I can't explain it given the almost total absence of humidity at 30%. I did a second topping on just one of them, trying to stop its vertical growth, which is significantly greater than the other 2, in order to try to even things out and increase branching. I did LST on two plants, one on the stem because it was too tall, and one on the branches to improve light exposure and air circulation. The plant I did LST on the main stem didn't hold up and "flattened out"; theoretically, a node should form, and the plant should strengthen. We'll see how it goes, and I'll keep you updated! Cheers!

Grow Questions

Seed1997started grow question 5y ago
Hey! I have a problem (maybe). On the leaves of the 3 gorillas 🦍, I often find drops of water that I really can't explain since the humidity is at 30% (so even too low) and the leaves of one in particular look like those of a succulent plant...

Water will form where leaves lay on top of one another and is not really a problem. The weird leaf is due to a genetic abnormality. They certainly look crowded already, you might need to bloom quite soon. Congratulations for choosing Gorilla Girl, it is a resin monster and an incredible smoke! Cheers, Organoman.

I often find my girls' leaves sweaty too, but in my case, I have humidity above average (often over 80%) not to mention they're in the bathroom in a hydroponic system. I'm forced to defoliate every week.

@FabioFobia, what do you think it's due to and what can I do? This issue worries me.

@Seed1997, assuming I'm inexperienced, if I were you, I would try different things... for example: running the extractor fan to dry, or in my case, it works to leave the tent open at the top corner with the extractor off and the lamp (LED) on. If it's cold outside, this warms the plants with the warm air generated inside a 40x40cm box, which tends to rise, creating air exchange.

@FabioFobia, I'm trying to keep the top open and we'll see! I'll update you later.. I'm in a tight 60x60 hahahah I've seen other diaries of Gorilla Girl... none look like mine, I don't get it. However, it seems like they prefer "difficult" environments. The others have all the perfect parameters for a cannabis plant, while mine are in the 'cold and with very low humidity and it seems that this has sped up the growth. They sprouted from the seed on October 27th and by the 29th they had thrown out the first real leaves (the single-pointed ones) exactly today starts the 4th week and they already have decent sizes especially compared to other diaries, let's hope for the best!

@Sweet_Seeds, thank you sweet seed! You are my favorite brand! One of your genetics a few years ago gave me an absolutely amazing result! With a 3 MT plant in a total cycle of 7 months that produced a whopping 2.8 kg! Without needing too much attention! These gorillas are very genetically unstable and in the years I've been growing, this is the first time in my life that I find such strange plants. They grow exponentially in 3 weeks, they really took off, and even though they are in the vegetative stage and quite small, they emit very strong odors in the room where you grow. Already from the second set of leaves, 9-fingered leaves have come out that have literally become huge! Leaves that look like those of a succulent plant. By the way, there are 3 plants of the same genetics and none of them grow the same way despite the same care! They look like 3 completely different strains! But I'm sure they will give me excellent results! They have extraordinary resilience; in my opinion, they are not very suited for techniques like topping since from what I've seen, it either significantly slows down the plant's development or causes quite an exaggerated elongation of the main stem, which led me to practice LST definitely too late. For me, I believe they are excellent varieties for outdoor with their resistance to low temperatures and high growth speed! In fact, this summer I will go back to gorilla girl to see the results they give outdoors! I love you sweet seed, I hope to collaborate with you one day!
