Okay so I ran a single plant test run of these seeds last grow and it way out shined all my other strains to date. These are 15 year old seeds that were given to me, it is a cross of White Widow, Silver Haze, God Bud and possibly some kind of Afghan Kush. I experimented with the two different methods of germination and the paper towel outshined the glass of water by quite a bit. I am hoping to find a nice phenotype off these seeds so I can mother a plant for awhile. My last grow taught me a lot and I definitely see the advantage to just taking clones instead of growing from seeds. Lets see what these babies have in store for us!

Wizard number 1 is doing great Wizard number 2 is mutated Wizard number 3 is struggling Wizard number 4 is mutated These old seeds are proving to be a challenge already lol. I did flower two of these before. One plant was amazing, potent, flavourful, and great aroma The other flowered in 18/6 (photoperiod). Although it mutated it had a good smoke too I hope Wizard number 1 is a killer pheno, as only 2/10 seeds so far have been any good lol

Some weird twisting leaves on them, hoping they out grow it. Overall good growth this week. They seem health other than some aesthetics

A lot of my seedlings have twisting and mutated leaves. Will they outgrow this? Should I let them keep going? Thanks in advance guys and gals

In my experience the first few leaves on some strains just do that. I wouldn't worry about it, just keep things where they should be and new growth will be normal.👊

I thought I was having some nutrient deficiency due to overwatering but it seems I let these girls get a bit root bound. I repotted into 5 gal fabric pots using cococoir and 4 tbsp of Gaia green 444 and 1 tbsp of 284. I also added half a tbsp of Myke to transplant hole. On pots 1-3 I added 1/2 cup of worm castings and on pot 4 I added 1 cup of worm castings. I am going to start aiming for PH of 5.8 so I can leave it in my 5L sprayer for 1-2 days without having to re PH. I have also slowly been increasing light intensity from 40%-60% this last week, by Monday it should be at 60% for the beginning of Veg. Thanks for checking my journal out and any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Okay, I’m learning every week. First off. I think my two lights in here are overkill. Someone suggested that one wasn’t enough for this size of tent but I think two is a bit much. I have been following manufacturer specs so far but it seems the girls are suffering from light stress ( Praying and canoeing ). Changes I have made this weekend is: I brought the lights up to 30” above tallest plant. Brought the lights back to 50% power Dropped humidity to 50% on humidifier ( I’m getting mildew in top of tent ) Turned up the exhaust fan to high Minor defol of first leaves and mutated leaves. Once the plants are no longer stressed I will top them. *Update* Powdery mildew was worse than I thought at first. Completely disinfected tent and everything in it (fans, humidifier, cables, walls, etc.) I believe this happened due to too high humidity and my exhaust filter being clogged (poor airflow)

I have the two lights turned down to 30% and the light stress seems to have stopped, I think I have a nice stable environment for these girls now. Wizard 4 is doing amazing, topped her this week 3 is doing well, I took off two wrong leaves… whoops Number two has a lot of new growth sites and will make a good recovery. Topped her this week 1 was looking really rough, plucked the uglies so she can focus her energy on new growth, curious to see how/if she recovers. Learning learning learning. Biggest lesson is less is more, especially in the early stages. Less light, less water, less nutrients. Hopefully this is the last time I need to learn this lesson lol As always any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks for stopping by

Is this from overwatering? I cant seem to find any info on this anywhere. I used 1/3 of whats recommended with gaia green 444 so it cant be toxicity.

Possibly the cause, I believe you have a root issue though. Try adding some enhancer to your soil. Something with humic acids to help break down unhealthy roots to proper growth can resume. The plant behind it is showing signs of heat and light stress so your environment may be too dry causing the same issue. Always water with pH 6-7 in soil. Add CalMag in soft or RO water. Check pH after adding nutes. Good luck

Plants 1-3 all seem to be recovering. I got some humic acid to help the roots out a bit. Last two waterings I added this and will switch to every few as a booster. Will probably be a little bit later than 8 weeks for flowering but I will take some clones off number 4 as she has proved to be the most resilient plant. Do you guys think number 4 is too dark? Or a healthy shade of green? Thanks for visiting

The other two are starting to recover and look healthier. Dropped down to one 1000w light instead of two, thinking that too much light may be the culprit with the yellower plant and it’s curling leaves

Too Dressed today to prep for flower. Two plants are healthy and ready for flower. The other still looks either light burned or nutrient deficient. This grow has been a pain in the ass. These seeds are 15 years old and this strain has given me a lot of trouble. Debating just flipping to flower and seeing how it goes.
